In the Middle Ages, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was one of the most open and tolerant European powers with flourishing Baroque culture and crafts, and freedom for all people to practice their religion. At the end of the 18th century, the Commonwealth of the Two Nations was occupied by the two-headed Russian eagle, marking the beginning of several centuries of oppression, destruction of our nation and history. However, the fierce conqueror was unable to suppress the thirst for freedom neither by drowning rebellions in blood nor by prohibiting Lithuanian press for 40 years. At the beginning of the World War I, on February 16th of 1918, a group of Lithuanian enlighteners declared the independence of Lithuania – the state was restored. Patriots have been defending Lithuania from enemies and building a truly European state. Even the new 50-years-long Soviet occupation could not kill the feeling of freedom – in 1990 Lithuania restored its independence. This time without weapons, but by unity and songs of freedom we destroyed the world's largest empire. This extraordinary feeling of freedom inspires and guides us today. We go to the world not to ask, but to learn, share our talents and achievements. For our FREEDOM. #RestoredLithuania100

Meet BUNNY – the new member of Sedes Regia STANDARD collection! It is a cozy pet-like piece of furniture that softens the formal tone of working spaces.

BUNNY originates from the project by INBLUM architects for the bureau of Wix.com, which was launched last spring. Over a year BUNNY became a beloved member of the office collective. We hope that this lovable character will find a spot in Your office or home…

Sedes Regia received Lithuanian Design Award – the Good Design prize – for model Cumulus!

International jury selected Cumulus as one of the best design objects in Products category. Furniture series Cumulus, designed by Kazuko Okamoto, creates cosy zones of privacy for work and recreation in offices or public spaces.

Lithuanian Design Prize competition seeks to find and celebrate the best design in Lithuania. Sedes Regia is awarded in the competition for the third time – in 2012 the company received the award for rocking chair Ops, and in 2013 – for model Pixel.

Thank You for acknowledgement!
