Joe the Lawyer asked a few weeks ago about my gaming groups, who I game with these days and I add in little of what I went through as a kid to find places to play.

I continue my Publisher Series. I have a batch of great call-ins and then get down to business with the complete merger of RPGNow into Drive-Thru RPG. My take on how this affects OSR publishers. The good and the bad.

Hey everyone, I want to spread the word on a new Patreon. I know, I know, another one. But, this one is for +James Smith, the creator of the Dream of Mythic Fantasy. He writes posts called OSR News which are exhaustive blog entries that cover products release that week. Specifically OSR products. Here's a blurb from James himself.

A typical News post takes 7-10 hours to put together, depending upon the activity level of the community. I expect this time commitment to increase, as my plans for the News and related material are realized. In particular, I'm planning a YouTube channel devoted to gaming, the OSR, reviews, etc. There's a few OSR & related channels now, but not many and I think its time the OSR really made its presence known on that platform.

James has been doing this for years. And the effort he puts into it is undeniable. It looks like he has one pledge level at $3. Consider pledging. This is a project well worth backing.

Hey folks, The Whisk released her third podcast. I am bias, but I think it's pretty good. And if you wait for the 'end scene' you'll hear her rendition of, C is for Cookie.

I've been working on my October offerings for my Patreon. Cold Forge which is the 3rd level to my micro mega dungeon. And then Ansel, an NPC card, a thief with a religious fetish. You can grab PDF copies at my Patreon, and if you like them enough that you'd like a physical copy to visit you in the mail, consider joining. Thanks!

Pssst.
Hey buddy. You need a thief?

I got a thief right here. Kinda new. Has some skills. Yeah, he's a little weird, but who ain't?

Sure he need a polish. But the kid is legit. Don't worry about those beads, helps him think.

I'll let you in on a secret. This kid can see in the dark. I'm not pinching your codpiece. I swear on my mother's grave, may she be shat out by Hastur.

After having this group lingering for a few weeks, here is a link to my Micro-Adventures group. Yes, it is a Patreon group, but there is a ton of free stuff to grab and I want the group to be more interactive. I plan on planning some events and giveaway. If talking, playing, reading, getting all things gaming is up your dark alley, come on over and join in.

Hey guys, just finished Cold Forge. It's the 76th micro-adventure and my 113th thingy I've made for my Patreon. As always, the PDF is there for anyone to download. If you'd like a physical copy delivered to your home consider joining in the fun.

I share the story of how a GM cannot fight the might of Python, he or she can only embrace it.
