I have a new tshirt design that I am sending to the printers soon and I am offering a special preorder discount through May 31st. If you live in the U.S. I will print and ship your shirt to you for only $15! If you are an international friend please message me and I'll calculate the specific shipping costs based on your location. You can still order after May 31, but the price will be back to standard convention rates and shipping won't be included. Got to this link to order via PayPal: www.mottfolio.com/etsy.html

Some more Minecraft inspired Valentines art that I put together.

The latest design in the line of Minecraft inspired Valentines. This one is a bit more subtle. The villager likes you so much that he's willing to be your Valentine for only one emerald! He must really like you, because whenever I play the game he wants to charge me 16 emeralds for an iron sword.

Final version of the 40k servitor cherub painting thingy. For a freaky little figurine, it turned out alright.

Current progress on the Warhammer 40k servitor cherub. Waiting for the washes to dry, then going to apply dry brushing for highlights.

New cards arrived in time for the convention! What do you think? Thoughts or comments on the new design? I only ordered a smaller initial amount to give it a test run at the convention, that way if I want to make any changes I can do so before I order a larger printing.

I'm working on my new website, and currently I have my art galleries divided into 5 sections: "Illustrations", "Graphic Design", "Figure Painting", "Misc Projects", and "Sketches". I'm not sure I'm happy with "Misc Projects" as a title though. It's basically going to be where all my art works that are a bit more whimsical or odd and don't necessarily fit the other categories. Anyone have any ideas for a better name? Also, I'm considering the idea of shrinking the number of categories down, like perhaps meld "Figure Painting" into the "Misc Projects" category, however I'm hesitant to do so because miniature painting is a pretty big facet of commissions I've done and probably deserves its own category. Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

I recently created a new tshirt design! I posted it via my Teepublic account to get an idea of whether it'd be popular enough to sell at conventions. I'll be doing this with most of the designs I create for wearing, so I appreciate hearing from you if you like something in particular, as feedback is going to help me a bunch in figuring out what is worth investing money on.

Due to some popular feedback, I created a version of the Valentines card that fits on a tshirt. It's already had some sales, and if you're wanting to grab one too you can do so at a cheaper price for the next two days. More designs to come soon!

Perfect argument to doubters of the moon missions, and also kind of depressing.

If nothing important happens this decade, it'll be remembered as the 50th anniversary of stuff that happened in the 1960s.

My rabbit does not approve of Easter.

Easter is not a happy holiday for rabbits. For me, it's a constant reminder of lagamorph worker exploitation! At least Santa gets milk and cookies when he brings gifts for Christmas. What does the Easter Bunny get for bringing kids candy and water squirt guns? Diddley Squat! Maybe that's the real reason why he hides eggs. He's making a statement of "If I have to bust my butt to get you something nice without any compensation, then I'm gonna make you work for your breakfast you ungrateful lazy kids!"

I do artsy stuffs.
Introduction
I'm an artist, graphic designer/illustrator, musician, writer, and avid reader living in the small city of Charleston, WV. My friends call me the "Renaissance Woman" because there's a very tiny list of types of art, music, and writing that I haven't at least dabbled in. Heck, I'm even an amateur science buff! By day I work as a typesetter for a printing company, but by night I fight evil by preventing people from making bad design decisions.

Remember, friends don't let friends use Comic Sans font.

I'm mostly known for my graphic design work, however I also do fine art using both traditional mediums as well as digital programs like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Some of this art I post on Google+ on occasion, but you can find my complete portfolio on my website at Mottfolio Design

Also, I have a webcomic called "Cookies and Cream" which is about a disagreeable french lop rabbit named Cookie who's delusions of superiority make life interesting for her owners. At the moment this webcomic is only a hobby and I keep a "whenever I have a free moment" type update schedule. But, you are welcome to check it out by  clicking here: Cookies and Cream Webcomic The main character is based off of a real life pet I have named Cookie, and if you search for her you'll find her own Google+ page, where she posts anecdotes whenever she finds time to sneak onto my computer.

If you'd like to commission me for any design work, feel free to send me a message and I'll give you a quote. Prices vary depending on what you want and how complex it is, however I will say I generally structure a quote around how many hours I will likely spend on the project. Give me a rundown of what you'd like to do and I can give you a good estimate on how much of your art budget needs for your project. Never be afraid to ask cause estimates are free, and if I can't help you I'll try to give you a good referral to someone who can. I'm helpful like that. :)
