In 2016 alone, the U.S. dropped over 26,171 bombs on #Iraq, #Syria, #Afghanistan, #Libya, #Yemen, #Somalia and #Pakistan in its so-called #WarOnTerror. That’s an average of 72 bombs every day and the equivalent of three per hour, according to an analysis of U.S. strikes around the world.

Those living under the threat of being bombed, kidnapped, raped or killed do not have the option of turning off the news and returning to their normal lives. They live in a constant state of fear and are surrounded by immense destruction and devastation. Many families have lost members due to the war.

#TransCanada Gets Presidential Permit To Build #KeystoneXL --

TransCanada Corporation said on Friday that the U.S. Department of State had signed and issued a Presidential permit authorizing the company to construct and operate the Keystone XL pipeline.

The approval comes after years of political, economic and environmental debates over the potential benefits and downsides of the project, and reverses a decision by former President Barack Obama who had blocked the pipeline in 2015.

“We greatly appreciate President Trump’s Administration for reviewing and approving this important initiative and we look forward to working with them as we continue to invest in and strengthen North America's energy infrastructure,” Russ Girling, TransCanada's president and chief executive officer, said in the company statement.

#PresidentTrump said his party's proposed health care bill, the American Health Care Act #AHCA, came very close to getting the votes it needed, but that it failed due to a lack of Democratic support - despite his party controlling both houses of Congress.

Trump said he was "a little surprised" by the #HouseFreedomCaucus' opposition, even though the caucus' leaders have claimed the bill did not meet their standards since the day it came out.

"A lot of people don't realize how good our bill was," Trump said. Apparently many in the House Freedom Caucus didn't realize it either.

In January of this year California Representative #AdamSchiff, who receives a large percentage of his campaign funds from the military industrial complex and whose top donor last year is a major force in the war profiteering lobby, told the LA Times that he fears progressives have become “radicalized” and speculated that Clinton’s loss may have been due to the party moving “too far to the left”.

This is the same vile little man, by the way, who recently accused a pundit of being a Kremlin agent because the pointed questions he was being asked about the #RussianHacking allegations were making him squirm.

With a vote on the confirmation of #SupremeCourt nominee #NeilGorsuch fast approaching, the #NRA is making clear they will campaign against Red State Democrats who vote against the nominee.

There are number of Senate Democrats from Red States who are up for re-election in 2018. Gateway Pundit published a list of names that included Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Sherrod Brown (D-OH) Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Clair McCaskill (D-MO), Bill Nelson (D-FL), and Jon Tester (D-MT), among others.

Democrats in this list who vote against a Gorsuch confirmation will not only find themselves campaigning against a Republican challenger but against the NRA as well.
