2 quick tips:

1- Polishing old cutlery, silverware, coins, copper cups etc. with non other than ketchup! Indeed, apply some ketchup, then scrub gently using a soft brush, leave for 5 mins, finally, wipe off using a warm damp cloth, your item is now as good as new!

2- Removing garlic odour from hands after chopping: Under cold running tap water, place the spine of the knife (the thickest part of the blade) between your fingertips, then slide them to and fro several times while maintaining contact with the knife. I know there are other methods out there using toothpaste, baking soda etc), but this seems to work best for me!
