I feel transported to India when I eat here. The food is just phenomenal with exotic flavors and a level of refinement you would expect for Indian restaurants in the 21st century. The decor at Fillmore is just beautiful so it makes the dining experience even more pleasant and sexy if you are on a date.

Af a galnce you wouldn't expect much from this restaurant especially with the old decor but the food is another story. Fresh color sushi awaits you here with real wasabi available (it's clearer and more liquidy than typical wasabi.) This place is great and don't sleep on it

This place is so good it's almost impossible to do walk in anymore.
The lamb is amazing as well as the thick and flavorful tzatziki.
We reseve weeks out when we want to go.

The coffee is excellent but his place has great food which people don't know about as well as a killer hot chocolate. They take pride in their menu and it shows

This is my neighborhood go to for comfort food. On a rainy day, it's great to get the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The sea bass is excellent for a healthy dinner. When I am in full on comfort mode, I run to the spaghetti and meatballs. Brunch is great too. Cozy atmosphere and nice owners.

This is some of the best indian in the city. Besides Dosa, I would dare say it is the 2nd best in the city. Fresh and flavorful. The owner is super nice and friendly. Everything is just delicious and doesn't have that overly ghee taste as many other restaurant 's have.

The place is a classy joint to get upscale soul food but the food doesn't match the elegant and sexy decor. The food was not so flavorful and fresh as we thought it would be. But this is still a sexy date spot to sip on whisky and even catch some great live music.

I almost don't want to review this place because it's so good. The pizza is so tasty and they go above and beyond in sourcing the best ingredients. the decor is amazing too with a custom bar designed to look like the golden gate (but in an abstract way) and brick sourced from Chicago. Back to the pizza: skip the 4 oven special pizza and focus on the classic deep dish pizzas. Lunch is a great deal too with a slice and salad being more than enough. Truly inspired.

They make one of the best coffees in SF. They know how to make it without the bitter taste and it's delicious!

My favorite Italian in SF. It is the epitomy of California cuisine: light, fresh, flavorful. The fresh pasta is so light, melty, and delicious for this foodie who is not a pasta lover. The decor is modern but comfortable and the service is friendly. They change their menu often and it's always a great surprise.

If your in the mood for Chinese, eat here instead and savor many of the same flavor profiles but in a more refined manner. The Shaking beef should not be missed. Gorgeous waterfront location at the Ferry building.

Beautiful location but unfortunately the food doesn't match up. Usually too much salt in the food and the service can be slow and unfriendly. Still worth going but more for drinks and oysters.
