Have you found a baby bird, squirrel, raccoon, skunk, or a fawn? In most cases, leave them be! Mom is most likely nearby, and/or  having a rest or feeding. If there is a danger of feral cats or other animals, you can move a baby bird out of danger - it's a myth that the mother bird will "reject" the baby. When in doubt, call a wildlife rescue center for advice!
