Can anyone help me to troubleshoot GTM for tracking downloads of PDFs?

I've set up Tag Manager following Justin Cutroni's tutorial, and Tag Assistant says it is working, but I am not seeing any events. I'm not sure I know what to look for in GA Debug.

The site is www.gwp.org

Time I got my head around comments better. Is there a preferred plug-in for threaded comments?

Asking here in case it gets a reply more quickly than the TXP forum: has anyone got MarsEdit working with TXP? Would you care to share your settings? Thanks.

Question about #OpenAccess ? A scientist I work with has published a paper in a PLOS journal. PLOS makes the metrics for downloads easily visible. Because it is OA, the organisation has also placed a PDF of the paper on its own website, for download.

I can see two ways to look at this. It could be a good thing, because the paper is available for download in lots of different places, increasing the chance of someone finding and downloading it. Or it could be a bad thing because the organisation website decreases the downloads visible at PLOS, suggesting that the paper is less interesting to people than it actually is.

Anyone have any ideas -- or better yet data -- on whether it is better to have multiple download opportunities or just the one?

Thanks

"So what about the question Luigi posed a while back? Is modern plant breeding bad for your health? Possibly, a little, but not in the way most people think. The big problem isn’t that nutrients in fruit and vegetables have decreased; despite the decline, they remain among the most nutrient dense foods you can eat. So eat them. Choosing one growing regime rather than another isn’t going to make any difference. The big problem is that we’re still eating too little fruit and veg and too much refined staples. "

If you have a copy of The Garden Seed Inventory and would like to volunteer for a crowd-sourced effort to save agrobiodiversity, comment at the blog post.

Still exploring G+ so following instructions and creating a Biology circle. Hoping that there are at least some botanists in here too. And I have to tag it #biologyinterest. I hope that's right.

"All we need to feed everyone well and to stop the Earth being wrecked is farming that's based on well-directed science and good old-fashioned capitalism, all rooted in what might be called common morality – a true desire to take care of each other and of our fellow creatures."

By old-fashioned capitalism, you have to understand that internalizing externalities is the key.
