The Hard Part of Mother's day
I think the hardest part for me about Mother’s Day is that I
remember my human failings as a mother. I think of all those times I had no
idea what I was doing. I was not fully aware of my own wounding and was
therefore, incapable of responding apart from th...

I have a critical voice inside my head that can sometimes be a real beast. It's been there for as long as I can remember and was probably a coping mechanism I developed growing up in my family's particular brand of dysfunction.
There are so many women out there who struggle with the harsh voice of the inner critic. It robs them of their joy and a life filled with passion and vitality.
There is a self-care retreat retreat in July that begins the process of healing that wound. Many women who need this cannot attend without financial help. Our IndieGogo campaign raises money to be divided into scholarships for women in need. Your contributions help with registration cost and travel expenses. For many, this can be a life-changing experience. Please show your support with a financial contribution to help us reach our goal.
We only have 13 days left, counting today which is almost over. Please help us reach our goal of $1,700. We have raised $1,330, but we need your help. $5, $10, anything you are willing to give helps us inch our way there.

"I want to talk about the shadow, the dark side, the part of us we keep well hidden, the part we don’t want anyone to know about, the part we internalized long ago when as a child we were humiliated, chastised or shamed. We became detached, we split off, and lost our connection with our true self.
For some people the shadow pieces can remain all their lives, its too painful to 'go there' and they are in total denial that there is any problem at all. For others there becomes a time when they start to see the pieces and embrace them, these are two different ends of the spectrum, but reaching the latter releases us from everything that holds us back and stops us from reaching our souls purpose in this life." (Quote from www.livingenergyhealer.com)
