Went to visit my son in Boston who is a BU Grad student since he won't be home for Easter and thought I would treat he to a good meal. Had 8 pm reservations arrived a few minutes early, greeted by a very nice young lady and was told that they were running 10 minutes behind, which was no problem. We were seated in the worst place possible, right outside the kitchen and by a door where they were having a private party. Server came and we ordered right away as we frequent the Flemings in Marlton, NJ, we knew what we wanted. My son ordered the clam chowder and a Fillet, medium rare and some sides, I ordered the short ribs and a salad. The Server brought us some bread after about 20 minutes. The clam chowder and salad arrived after about a 1/2 hour. We then waited until 10 pm for our dinner. My sons fillet was Well Done!! The server apologized, got the manager who also apologized, and got him another steak, while his sides got cold. After another 10 minutes he finally got his fillet. The manager and served both apologized a quite a few times through out this ordeal. We decided not to order any desert or coffee as we were more than a little angry over the situation. They did tell us that we would not be charged for our meals. The waitress also seemed to have a bit of an attitude - could have been friendlier given the situation. We were very gracious given all of their screw-ups. This is the Worst Flemings we have ever gone to!!! Awful!!!! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!

The service was great. The server and manager were very welcoming to us. I loved my steak and dessert was delicious. They even gave us a complimentary box of truffles.

Amazing service. Great wine selections. Both wet age and dry aged steaks. my favorite steakhouse in Boston.

We recently went to Fleming's for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming and we were seated in the back at a cozy table for two. I had read many reviews before going in order to have an idea of what to order. We started with the calamari which was good. Then my husband ordered the peppered steak and I order a filet, both asked for them to be cooked medium. As soon as it arrived I new it was well done, as I cut into it I was very disappointed to see that was so done it was almost dry. My husbands was a little more than well but not as well done as mine. My waiter (which I wish I could recall his name because he was fantastic) came over and immediately could see the steaks were over cooked and immediately apologized and said to keep eating our meals and sides and that he would place another order for new steaks. Then the manager Seth Berger came over and apologized and stated that the meal and all food would be taken care of but we had to pay for our bottle of wine, we explained that we weren't looking for a free meal but he insisted that they were a steak restaurant and they are known for their steaks and would happily take care of the meal. New steaks arrived shortly along with new sides all hot and perfectly done, and were delicious! We also go the lava cake after reading everyones raving reviews and it was very good as well! Our wonderful waiter came over several times to check in and gave me a birthday card, free appt card, and a box of truffles! We were speechless. The meal was very good and well worth waiting for, we will happily be going there again! Thank you Flemings for being so attentive and accommodating, I have to say so many restaurants these days do not take accountability when a meal comes out wrong nor do the waitstaff take such pride in their work...we were very pleased with the whole experience!

Came here last week with a friend during their happy hour. We ordered the burger medium rare and it came out REALLY rare-- blood soaked buns and dripping. It wasn't exactly my cup of tea and would have preferred it less but my friend liked it so i ate it anyways. The burger tasted really good eventhough i am not fund of all that "juiciness". Fries were meh. We don't drink so not sure what that's like. However, i can see other tables with drinks and they looked really good cocktails. Parking around this area sucks so don't bother. you're better off taking the T or walking here. The bathroom was extremely clean and didn't smell, which was great!

Best Caesar salad I have ever had. My filet mignon was superb, the mashed potatoes were incredible. Basically, if I could eat here every day, I would. The service was great, the space is cozy and inviting, with a distinct air of sophistication. This is what a dining out experience is meant to be!

Fleming's has the best happy hour in Boston. No drink specials allowed under MA law, but they have great food specials and delicious martinis. Never too crowded and bartenders are always attentive.
