Worst service in the State of Indiana. We were going every other week or so because the food was so good but the service is just worth it any more. We had chips, no salsa, My husband had half his beer gone before I asked a different waitress for my drink. Then the food came out with shredded meat on my chimmichanga then I ordered (shredded meat not ground beef). I went and found a server after waiting for ours to return (of course she didn't) The waitress said it was shredded steak. So she took it back to remake it. A third waitress came back to our table carrying my plate, telling me it was right. Ok then after I finally had her to take it back, the owner comes out with that same plate! He tore it open with a fork, ripped it all apart, and said well now I will remake it since I pulled this one apart. OMG Really? I will not be returning to this place! No apologies, no partial comp on the food, just a to go box for our Sunday dinner! They were so busy trying to be right that they lost my business and everyone that I know! And furthermore, you expect me to eat it after 3 different people have ran around that place with my plate? Come on now...What the hell!!! Worst service in my life! Total lack of customer appreciation even from the owner! See how long he stays in business with the way he treats people. 2 thumbs down!

Well, the service was okay and the food was decent at best but it is located across the street from me so I eat there when I can. I wouldn't travel to eat here at this point but the convenience is good. I guess.

Used to be a good place to eat. The new owner has decided he knows better than 30-40 years of history with lines out the door at the old place. He has changed the meat and not for the better. Raised prices and lower the quality. Used to travel from noblesville 5-6 times a year. Haven't been back in over 6 months. Spent $40 and drove 30 minutes one way to find out it isn't even close to the same restaurant my wife and I have enjoyed for over 30 years. I will eat Taco Bell before I will drive to joe's again. You might as well change the name of the place because it is clearly false advertising to claim this place is Acapulco Joe's.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love taco Tuesday, it's a great value and quick lunch. The fresh salsa is perfect on many of the dishes. They have made so many improvements since the new owner took over. You should stop in and give them a try.

Me and my girls were there this evening. A fight broke out in the kitchen and scared me and my family . . No apology from staff and they blew it off, as it was no big deal...but big enough to have 3 squad cars pull up at the restaurant to investigate. I had no clue if the place was getting robbed or if some one was getting stabbed in the kitchen. Me and my girls ran to the front door for safety just incase. When you see and hear an employee yell for "help" to the staff in the dining area and you see chaos in the kitchen...first reaction is to think that something bad is happening. Left me and my family scared and uneasy. I wouldn't go back again. I will be contacting the restaurant on Monday....just unprofessional and shouldn't have happened.

Run fast and far from this place. It started as a possible good food experience then came the food and it was a disaster. The 3 tortilla appetizer for $6 is exactly that. 3 Tortilla chips filled with chili con carny and topped with mozzarella. Not nachos supreme like i thought. After finishing the appetizer the server said she would put in my burger order now. She comes back after a few minutes and asks if I would like another type of bread on my burger then explains the buns are frozen and is regular bread ok. I said yes. The burger arrives mashed down with no flavor and is about 1/4 inches think. Very disappointing. The only thing good about the experience was the French fries, the water and the free wifi.

High in the running for the worst restaurant in Indianapolis, possibly the state. Bad pricing, horrible service and bland tasting food. Run fast.

I heard good things about this place in the 90s, then bad things about it recently. One day I was heading home from work and decided to try it myself. I'm glad I did. The food was great. I ordered the Chicken Fiesta to go. Chicken was well cooked, cheese melted on top, and I got chips with it as well. Looking back at the menu, I'm not sure why, but they were good as well. Furthermore, this place is not short on value. I got easily enough food for 2+ people for under $10. Don't listen to the negative reviews, they're likely from long ago. If you walk by this place in the morning, you'll smell what I'm talking about. Try it.
