This place gets a five because you gotta compare it to cheesecake factory. I think one of the best desserts places is actually the Buffet in Barona. But back to this review. Anyway, the other extraordinary desserts is ghetto as shit. It's in a ghetto ass neighborhood and I wouldn't want to stand around there. Seriously. This one is a little better, still there's a lot of dark alley ways, just stay away from those areas or go in big groups. Anyway, so you might think it's pricey, but think about what you pay at cheese cake factory. 8 bucks, spend 2 extra dollars and you get some of the best tasting and aesthetic looking desserts in the world. Don't eat the flowers, its just for decorations purposes. FOOD is Great Check A little Pricey Looks Great Check You're good to go!

There was a nice patio with heat lamps and candlelights. There was a helpful staff member walking around to inform new patrons how this whole thing worked since the line went out the door. That's great customer service! The staff was also friendly and commenting how cute my puppy was! Haha.. Then again I get that from a lot of people. What can I say? I have a cute pup! LOL! I just have to say I always love the dog friendly places! This was definitely one of them! Well I ordered the Lemon Napoleon and I absolutely loved it! I scarfed that down so fast! Haha! Everything about it was perfect! Even the rose on there was so sweet and yummy! A sweet edible rose!? Now that's extraordinary! I didn't get a chance to explore too much on other dessert/pastries there because I was full from an earlier meal. However, I couldn't stop eating the rock sugar that came with my sister's coffee. lol! I definitely will be back to try out other yummy stuff there! Woot!

I keep coming back after so many years!!! I actually go to the Little Italy location, it is much bigger tan the Hillcrest one. They have high tables and the decor is chic and simple. About the desserts!!!!! Yum!!! I love the macadamia cheese cake and the raspberry scone. The truffles are simply the best. It is also very cool that they offer a variety of salads, appetizers and tapenades. Also, the wide variety of teas and coffees make it a good place to please a crowd. The ponly down side is that it can get very crowded during the weekend and they don´t take reservations- so the waiting time can be a bummer; otherwise, I highly recommend this place to everyone. PS: they cater!

Must go place whenever you're down in San Diego. Especially the one located here near the little Italy. Their cake is a little bit pricey but it's worth it. It's not only the fancy decoration that you're paying for, but the taste is really extraordinarily good. They made it fresh and customer constantly go in and out of this place, so you won't expect their dessert to be stale. I don't think their coffee nor drinks are that great, their sandwiches and paninis and salad which I've tried aren't that special. They're just ordinary sandwiches that I do not recommend eating when you go there. I do recommend you to try any of the cakes that you feel like eating. Because they look great, taste great and feels great to just be in there. I've brought my dogs over twice to this place, and they have outdoor sitting.

Extraordinary deserts is right! The selection and quality is remarkable. I had the best raspberry danish of my life, and it was probably about a pound. $5, though. The price is the only reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars. But for real, if you're visiting, check it out.

The place had a very limited selection of desserts compared to 5th Ave. I was extremely disappointed compared to my first visit at the other location during my last visit. The place was dirty, seats had food on them, the floor had food reminents all over it. The hostess was busy socializing with a co-worker while we waited to be seated. I had to interrupt them in order to be seated. She then tried to seat us at a bench seating area and the seats were filthy with food. She apologized but that should not have happened. The waitress took along time to greet us after we were seated. Oh by tbe way, did I mention tbat the place only had 4 tables seated at the time. I won't ever come here again.
