This is something every #entrepreneur must know...

#5: Be patient.
Are you a leader? Then you know there will be times when the people you work with aren’t performing as expected—and you know you need to confront them about it but are afraid the conversation will stir up emotions and make the situation worse. Or maybe you feel comfortable calling the meeting, but you’re not sure what to actually say that will motivate change without having to threaten consequences. Tough talks can actually have positive outcomes...

We all know ‪#‎charisma‬ when we see it, even if it’s sometimes hard to pinpoint exactly why.

Charisma makes you likable. Do you have it?
You know the guy. He’s poised. He’s confident. And when he speaks to people, it’s in a strong measured voice, a relaxed tone and his words are well-chosen. Even his classy but understated appearance seems to fixate everyone around him. But it’s not what he’s saying or how he looks. It’s his whole being. As his voice and gestures indicate he’s nearly finished speaking, you feel inspired by not only his ideas but your own ideas now budding from thi...

Fire Inc. Atlanta is happy to announce Logan Banks' recent promotion to Corporate Trainer!
In his own words: I am so excited to start this new chapter of my career as a Corporate Trainer with Fire Inc. Atlanta. I was able to achieve this promotion in thirteen days by maintaining a student mentality, dedication, and a "All or nothing" mindset. I can't wait to learn more and grow further with Fire Inc. Atlanta.

Let's get some practice!

#selfdevelopment #pitch #tipstuesday

Question #1: Would your elevator pitch make sense to a distracted 10-year-old?

Sharpen your business pitch by going back to the basics.
The “up” button glows orange as you wait. You can hear its motors moving as you watch the lights descend from floor 10, then 9, then 8… then a loud a clunk when it hits 1. The elevator doors slide open, and you walk inside. And just when you think you’re riding solo to floor 12, someone else jogs up, asking you to hold the door and then to please push 11. This is your chance. Will you take it? OK, so it probably doesn’t happen in an elevator most...

How good are you at persuading others?
#businesstips #selfdevelopment #atlanta

How persuasive are you?
Try these 6 persuasion principles to pull people onto your side and give yourself a ‪#‎competitive‬ edge.
When New York Life offers—with “no obligation”—a flashlight and keychain to AARP members who agree to let the company send them information, it’s employing a scientifically proven persuasion principle. Same with TruGreen, when it solicits lawn-care business in a mailer that says “57 of your neighbors have TruGreen lawns.” Ditto for Core Power, when it becomes the “official protein drink” of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

If you are looking for a sales/management position, this is the best job around. The pay is phenomenal, the team is very energetic and helpful, and the President, Malcolm, has the experience and the will to make you a lot of money in this job. Every person starts in sales but in about two years can work their way up to management based on work ethic and not seniority. Long story short this company and everyone working in it is amazing.

I love what I do... I've worked in many different fields and have never come across such highly motivated people like I work with now. We are like one big family! Karaoke Tuesdays are a blast! There are little to no avenues like this where working hard leads to such growth and success within the company. The support of management is unbelievable and my personal success leads to the success of others.

Malcolm is an incredible teacher and leader. I learned so much from him when I was a recent college grad and gained experience that I'm so thankful to have today.

Working at FIRE has provided me with a great opportunity for both personal and professional growth. I love the team-oriented but competitive work environment, as well as how upper management is so supportive in helping each individual reach his or her goals within the company. I am proud to work for one of the top marketing firms in Atlanta!

My experience at FIRE Incorporated has given me a vivid insight to management, as well as the availability to tools to become effective in maintaining high quality standards for myself. Refreshing is the feeling I get often from my peers, but excitement is what I find m self looking forward to when I am embraced by Malcolm Elavia and the other professionals here at FIRE Inc. Constant self development combined with an atmosphere that fosters creativity is a potent yet lively mix for success.

DO NOT WORK HERE! If you, like most people in this economy, are on your last ropes and have been putting in serious work trying to find a decent job, and even if you're NOT, this is a total waste of time. You walk around all day in the hot sun, and in other seasons the FREEZING cold, going door to door selling products, work 12 hour days, and worst of all, you are NOT promised pay. It's a totally commission job, which means if you can't get people to step out in extreme weather conditions, or dedicate a whole half hour to you ( a complete stranger) to listen to your pitch, YOU'RE NOT GETTING PAID. And even if they do listen, most people decline the product. I say this from painful experience. They will hype your head up and make you believe this is easy or feasible, but it's not. And the people I trained with, who just happened to be half-way successful with it, LIED to customers in order to get to the top. Again, if you want to make an honest living, and you don't want to be on your feet 12 hours a day and still not getting paid, DO NOT WORK HERE!
