RETARDED GOOD GET SOME

Here we go!
Today we’re unwrapping the best holiday gift we could’ve imagined: the first real build of our self-driving vehicle prototype.

The vehicle we unveiled in May (goo.gl/qDUtgq) was an early mockup—it didn’t even have real headlights! Since then, we’ve been working on different prototypes-of-prototypes, each designed to test different systems of a self-driving car—for example, the typical “car” parts like steering and braking, as well as the “self-driving” parts like the computer and sensors. We’ve now put all those systems together in this fully functional vehicle—our first complete prototype for fully autonomous driving.

We’re going to be spending the holidays zipping around our test track, and we hope to see you on the streets of Northern California in the new year.  Our safety drivers will continue to oversee the vehicle for a while longer, using temporary manual controls as needed while we continue to test and learn.  Happy holidays!

I have a great tea story to share from today.  I invited an old friend to tea, one who has been a little stuck in his life in various ways (haven't we all been?).  He had never had Puerh tea before.  As he arrived, he informed me that his mom had given him something that he wanted to show me.  Out came a massive BRICK of Puerh!  I opened up and new immediately that this was something special, especially for my friend!  It came with certification papers and a note from my friend's aunt about how she knew this tea was going to change her life (by making her thinner!).  We poured it.  5 cups in we began to meditate and I got to know the tea. I had the distinct feeling that this tea's job was to help clear intense and deep karma for people.  20 minutes in, I apparently dissolved so much that I experience that my friend and I were identical.  Then my damn cell phone beeped at me, as I was awaiting the arrival of another friend and needed it on to coordinate things, and I popped out of it.  Spent the next few minutes contemplating how the the heavens I might get back to that state, as it seemed so easily accessible.  Determined quickly that such a choice wasn't up to me to make and transitioned to metta, which was profound in its own right.  After our session, I strongly urged him to drink that tea every day.  I think he'll be back.  Moral of this story: when random Puerh bricks just show up in your home, drink them down!
