Hmm, Follow these and get a time zone error… Any thoughts?

go to you app in dev.twitter.com. Edit it and add the url. If you have any question you can press the help button in falcon pro. It explains really well what do you need to do :)

+Chris Chinchilla I did 2 things and then it worked. But I don't which one solved the problem.
1.  Add the callback url when you create app on twitter.
2. Copy and paste your app key/secret to a Google drive doc, and then copy and paste from drive to Falcon Pro.
Good luck.

Maybe the number 1 fix you issue +Dongwei Tan . On the other hand you have to be really carefull when you write you app key and secret to the application. Sometimes you paste white spaces... if you did, it won't work :) good luck guys

Will try all your advice. Once done, do you just login as normal? And are the steps the same for multiple accounts?

you have to do it only once. After you did it you can add accounts as always, you will have 100k tokens for yourselft becouse its your app now (at least for twitter)

Works great. Now I have a reason to learn the Rest API. lol

works awesome! gracias por compartir ;)

The Tweetertron5000 is alive! How the fuck did you figured this out?

In the last step of logging ,it always pop up "Error -Make sure date/time settings are correct ".Checked my settings ,I found it has nothing wrong .And the Flacon also says "Nice .But there is something you need to do .."

As I said in the comments you need a call back url in your twitter app. Add one in dev.twitter.com

+Nick Rosas Joaquín told us in beta tester private community here in Google plus "there's a way to login but you guys have to figurate out how to do it" so I begun to check everywhere and since I'm a developer too it was easy to know what to do =)

Indeed ,I have added a call back URL 。then I restart my photo and login again ,it work !now I have logined in Falcon Pro .

Any way for rooted user to repackage this and share apk with friends without having to do this on each of their phones?

Mmmm you can share your api key and secret with friends (because you have 100k tokens) in that way they don't have to create the app in dev.twitter.com.

Was what I was thinking. Was hoping for a way so I could be lazy and not handle each of their phones since most don't have enough confidence to do such things.

Well, Awesome man, thanks for your usefull info....and peoples comments...really helpful...thanks All :)..

It keeps telling me my date and time is wrong what do I do?

+ben cully read previous comments it's been stated twice if not more

IMO, Poopoo to Twitter for restricting their API on devs & cheers to the Android community for figuring this hack out

This isn't a hack, +Seth Wieder... It's pretty much a gift from the developer. It's just that he wanted it to be "hidden" in a funny and interesting way.

+Alejandro González If it's not a hack it's certainly a workaround. But I certainly appreciate the devs ingenuity.

Why on earth do you think it's ingenuity? He purposely let everyone use it.

I mean his creative problem solving to use a pseudo dev app to trick the twitter authentication api... And yes we both agree props to the dev for sharing this method.

Hi, I need help,
This application will not be able to:
Follow new people.
Update your profile.
Post Tweets for you.
Access your direct messages.
See your Twitter password.

I can log in into Falcon Pro, but I can't make any tweets

You should grant all those access when you create your application

+Fernando González I followed the instructions but the "Error -Make sure date/time settings are correct" still popped up. What should I do? And I already add a callback url. :(

Clean the cache and data from your application. If it doesn't work reinstall

Worked perfectly… Tangent question. How do you show all interactions instead of just mentions? Sure that used to be the case?

Twitter blocked its own api once again... nobody can show interactions only it's oficial application

One other issue I've suddenly started having. I keep getting "Couldn't send your tweet - There was a network error" when I try to post, reply, retweet… Can still refresh the timeline though?

I did everything and it apparently works but when i open the app it closes automatically

+Fernando González Is there an explanation as to why it conflicts with Lucky Patcher? If I remove Lucky Patcher, do the applied patched get removed along with it? Also, Many thanks!

Lucky Patcher unlocks paid application that's why it can bug them too. You can remove it and see what happen with the applications you already patched. I have no idea if they will work because i don't use those kind of applications.

+Fernando González Oh alright, I removed it and Falcon Pro is working just fine, while the only patched app i have is Poweramp and its still working so far. Again, thanks!

I tried it a lot of times. Cleared the cache of the browser and tried again. I also have the callback url. I still receive the same error.
Error -" Make sure date/time settings are correct. If problem persists, make sure dont keep activities from the developer settings is unchecked." +Fernando González +myles mosley

Did you try to reinstall? On the other hand you don't need to clean browser's cache, you have to clean the application (falcon pro) cache

Thanks for the help. I got that figured out. I had the developer options enabled on my phone which was not allowing me to access Falcon. I disabled it and it worked fine. Thanks again :-)

Sorry I have no idea what are you taking about. I don't speak French

Still cant login.
Already clear Falcon Pro cache, enter token, reinstall, disable developer option, etc.
that time zone still denied me to login. sigh :((

hey whatever url i enter, it always tells me that i entered an invalid url to make a new app!! what do i do?! :/

I have entered call back url, turned developer option off, cleared the cache and data, even restarted & rebooted the phone, still it says date time error cannot login, plz tell me what to do?

Sorry, which "Developer Option" are we talking about here? I have added the callback url, I've cleared the app cache and data, reinstalled, and I still get the date/time error. My date/time is set over the network. I have a whole sub-menu of Developer Options, so is there a particular one I need to disable?
In desparation I switched off auto-from-network for date and time, but the error still says;
"Error - make sure your date/time settings are correct (automatic from network)"

I got it to work, but now I can't send tweets. I get all notifications. They come straight through, but when I try to send a tweet it says there's a "Network error, unable to send tweet." Any thoughts?

Maybe you didn't add the permissions in your app in twitter dev. Check it out

I have all permissions switched on, so the date/time issue isn't related to that, I don't think (possibly +Sean Archer's issue though).

Think I had the permissions set to Read Only on the app. New question. What if I want to use two accounts? Or is the original app only used for unlocking Falcon?

You can add any account you want, you have now 50k tokens for urself

i can't find anywhere in the twitter app definition effecting locale. Using network time on my phone puts me in the correct locale for my location... is Falcon locale locked elsewhere?

Make sure you are typing the keys correctly. Little L's look like Capital I's and Zeros (0) look like capital O's. This is what fixed my issue.

Copy&paste removes that issue. No, there has to be some sort of hidden
locale locking going on. Either on twitter's end or for falcon pro. Would
love a comment from the OP in that regard.

I have the same Date/Time problem. Did everything suggested here but still no progress.

I have a tumblr so I used that address
Andre A

Im getting message "not valid url format"
What should i do ?

Problem solved...

Babam! Finally worked. Don't know why now and not before but I'm Falconing now...

+Fernando González so what do I do after entering the custom login details?  What I've tried it clicking on the "log into Twitter" button again but after a long delay I get the date/time error.  Should I be adding a callback URL?

I did exactly like Dermot Canniffe (Aug 22, 2013)
Using Falcon Pro 2.12. App Info,  Clear Data, Unintall / ReInstall. I am certain I have set Callback URL. The https://apps.twitter.com page now call it Access token (instead of Consumer token) and Access token secret (instead of Consumer token secret). I copy and past the token, absolutely no chance of typos. Repeated the procedure so many times. Still got the error: "Error - make sure your date/time settings are correct (automatic from network)"

May be this trick doesn't work any more?

The trick works pretty fine to me. Are u sure ure using the last Falcon pro apk version?

Problem fixed. I can log in now. There is no way any one can succeed to login following your instructions because there are full of detailed steps you forgot to mention. Here is where I got the solution:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/07/03/falcon-pro-updates-to-v2-0-4-outside-of-the-play-store-now-supports-a-way-to-blatantly-skirt-twitters-token-limit

Even this blog post was outdated. Especially on how to get the Consumer Key. The solution is given by the commenter crispy9090, that I reproduce here + some minor updates b/c thw twitter app page had been slightly modified.

On the Settings tab:
- Enter a Callback URL (any site will do; can be the same as your Website setting)
- Enable "Allow this application to be used to Sign in with Twitter"
- Press the Update button at the bottom to save your settings

On Settings (or Details) tab:
- Press the "Test OAuth" button (on the top right of the page) to generate an oauth Access Token. This will bring you to another screen where you can see Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.

Question: now that I have my Consumer Key working. Does that mean it also have 100,000 user token limit? In other words, can I share the Consumer Key & Consumer Secret with family members and friends?

So can you tell me if it's OK to share my Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to a few people (non technies friends and family members)?

Thanks in advance for any help

Logged in just fine, but it won't let me tweet or retweet anything... Any ideas??

Maybe you didn't mark those permissions in your app in dev Twitter site. Check your app and make sure you have selected them.

Thanks! It fixed it! Any idea why Falcon Pro jumps to the same spot on my timeline, even if I've already passed those tweets Perviously??
