Hidrophobic nanocoating a.k.a. "NeverWet"
[ ]

Ready for some new nanotech that's just about to reach your home? The guys at Ross Technology Corp. created a silicon-based spray-on coating that repels water and heavy oils. They also assure that any surface protected by this coating won't get any bacteria at all.

One of the scientists sprayed his own iPhone with the coating, submerged it for 30 minutes underwater and it was good to go afterwards, no damage taken.

I remember having seen similar tech some years ago in a documentary, but at that time the stuff had just been recently discovered. It didn't take too long for it to hit the shelves!

The product will be available from this year onwards.

Those guys at Aperture Labs are so smart!
Next step: Teleporting this stuff straight to our desks.
Spray-on shoes? Those dudes totally ripped off Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
