I love Tempo and all of the staff inside it. Especially the bar tenders! They are always there to serve with a smile and a nice conversation. I held a fundraiser with them for The American Cancer Society and they could not have been more supportive. The food is always delicious and fresh and I would recommend it to anyone.
Really love Tempo Bistro. The food is delicious, not super pricey and the menu is extensive and changes often. The cocktail menu is also unique with some handcrafted cocktails. Definitely a great spot for a night out on Moody street!
Ingredient quality was good and nice atmosphere, but overall very pricey for the final product ($60 for two). The filet tips were OK, but one chunk was gristle and the rest was over done. The salads were good. The pork ribs were good. The tuna tartar tacos were good. The bread and the passion fruit mouse were the most memorable to be honest. The staff was friendly. If you have money to burn, it's worth a try.
We came here for dollar oysters but the service was pretty terrible. As soon as they realized we weren't going to order anything else, they basically stopped paying attention to us. The dollar oysters are still pretty worth coming for though.
I am from Newton, mass. I eat out 7 days a week three meals a day, so I think that makes me some what of an expert of fine dinning. 1- Service with a smile does not exist at American Tempo what so ever, except from the hostess. Last night first dinning there with a few friends and within 15 min we walked out. Dear manager, the quality of service with a smile is as important as what's placed on the table. Learn it, soak it in and teach your snobby help. Thank you.
