I guess since I'm just as much a member of Google+ as I am Facebook, it's only appropriate to announce here as well that +Andrew Salib proposed last night and I was more than ecstatic to say yes and promise the rest of my life to him!

More shameless plugging. Seriously, awesome band. They rocked Creation less than 6 months after playing their first show - which happened to be opening for At The Onset's fundraiser show in February. These guys are going places.

Technologies TIME wants to steal from Harry Potter. All choices are pretty solid.

Here's something interesting: How often do I, as an Apple user, go out of my way to post negative things about Windows? Never. Unless I have a specific frustration with a PC, you won't hear me talking trash - and even most of my issues go unmentioned in the online world. But here are all these proud Windows and Linux users who constantly go out of their way to take the time to spew garbage about Steve Jobs, the Apple product family, and Mac users themselves. Is it just me or do I sense a wide-spread inferiority complex here?

R.I.P Steve Jobs. I wonder if +Marc Telesha will lay off on the Apple hate for a while?

It's the closed system's like once you start buying into the Apple ecco system you have the choice of either everything or nothing. Also it really has hurt the consumers and will continue to do so especially if others try to do the same things.

Well this is interesting. Jonathan Stark executes an experiment somewhat along the lines of "take a penny, leave a penny" - but by publicizing his Starbucks card information for the world to drain, replenish, or balance as it wishes. Check out the article!

I hate buying textbooks for school. As if we don't pay enough for tuition...

Yeah I hardly use it. Just for major term papers and stuff, so what's that, 3 times a semester? Sometimes less? Ridiculous.

Facebook still broken. Maybe it surrendered to Google+. That was short-lived.

Hahaha. I don't mind some Angry Birds. It's the stuff like FarmVille that gets under my skin.

I came to Alexandria Nails to get a french manicure the day before my wedding. There were little hairs getting in each of my nails and at one point the woman pulled the hair off, making a hole in the white polish, which she reapplied but it smudged all over. I did not feel comfortable. Another worker sat right next to the woman doing my nails and watched her the whole time, speaking in a different language and sometimes looking at me and laughing. Extremely rude. The next day, at my wedding, by 2 PM when I was ready to walk down the aisle, 2 of my nails had already chipped and the polish had fallen off completely. Classy. The night of my wedding, I got home and all the polish just started flaking off. Entire nails. I just gently pulled the rest off (it wasn't hard at all) and I am never going back.
