Today Google announced that is is killing their RSS reader, Google Reader. As it is for millions of other users, Google Reader is a mission critical part of my day.

Google, I know you want to migrate us to G+. I get that. But your unceremonious axing of something so much loved and used as Reader makes me question my dependency on ANY Google product other than search.

Please reshare this if you agree. Maybe someone at Google will notice.

Why does the Google+ app for iOS take up so much space. It's currently using 726MB on my iPhone. I'm assuming its caching data, but it should clear it out after a while.

Here is a before and after using the Ilford Delta 3200 film preset from the VSCO Film 02 pack.  Other than a slight WB adjustment, this is basically a one-click edit.  I am very pleased with these presets so far.  The black and white film presets really seem to produce good skin tones, which is often my main issue with other black and white conversions.

I just bought the VSCO Film 02 presets yesterday.  I figured I would share a before and after image using one of the 02 presets.

I edited this photo with only 5 clicks of the mouse.  From the set of presets from VSCO, I applied the C - Fuji Superia 100 preset which got me most of the way there for this image.  Then, I used the DR: Highlight Save + preset which really just brings down the highlights slider to -60.  I also used the Grain ++, which adds grain in the Effects section of the develop settings by changing the Amount to 40 and Roughness to 30.  After that, I used my own sharpening preset, which sets Sharpening to 55 and the Masking to 70, and my light vignette preset, which turns on -15 for the amount of Post-Crop Vignetting.  Obviously, the possibilities are endless as to how you can edit a photo, but if you setup presets for some of the common things you do to get the looks you want, it can really help to speed things up.

Is anyone using Visual Supply Co's Film presets/profiles? Just curious if they are worth getting?
