I'm Francesco, a web developer and content manager. I'm a digital nomad originally from Turin in north-western Italy but have lived in Boston, Berlin and London. Today you can find me mostly online or around Europe.
so what do I do?
I like working with open source technologies and have experience with PHP, Javascript, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, LAMP and LEMP servers. I'm also experimenting with node.js, backbone.js and a bunch of other new stuff.

what else?
I also work as an archivist in the broadcast field. I'm passionate about content organization and the challenges of content annotation, preservation, (re)use and delivery. I see archives as the cornerstone of digital production and as one of the pillars in the ever-changing media industry.

Worked on over 20 Drupal projects, 5 Olympic games, 1 Pan-american games and 1 Commonwealth games

Aventura is a clean, quiet cozy little place in a central location. Staff was very kind and helpful. I've been to the hostel twice over three years and had a great time both times that I was there. In both occasions I stayed in the Japan room which is a private double. It's nicely furnished with the essentials. Outside of the room there's all you could expect from a hostel: kitchen, free wifi, tons of info about places to go and things to see in Budapest and elsewhere. If you're backpacking and looking for a cheap but nice place to stay it's definitely recommended.
