Happy Sunday Everyone! -  These are rolags!  A rolag is a roll of fiber created by first hand carding wool and then gently rolling it off the cards.  All part of fiber preparation for spinning.  (or making a smiley face.) auntiezaza.com

Today is my Dad's birthday.
He would have been 90.  He died in April.
I miss him.

A rolag is a roll of fiber Raw wool is cleaned and then dyed.  Yarn dying recipes are available. Wool is then carded using hand cards. Rolags are formed by carding the wool into even rolls. Ready for spinning.

I am an avid knitter. I love to discover myself through my knitting journey. My intention is share what I learned along my knitting journey. I hope to inspire your creativity along the way.
Introduction
I am a knitter, mother, gardener and more.  I enjoy designing on the needle.  I discover myself as I explore fibers and knitting techniques.  I am beginning to teach knitting and love to share my knowledge with others.  I have dreamed knitting dreams.  My latest is to make a self portrait in string. Go figure.  Some would ask, what is the point of that.  I am not sure I know. I am certain I will discover more along the way.  I look forward to the new days adventure in knitting.
