New from Essay Press (ed. Andrew Fitch): "The Women in Visual Poetry: the Bechdel Test". Includes conversations between me and K. Lorraine Graham on poetry, space, and bodies; between Michelle Detorie and Gillian Devereux on erasure; and between Sheila Murphy and Kathy Ernst on vispo collaboration. Maureen Thorson wrote the afterword. Thanks to Michael Basinski and the Buffalo Poetry Collection for letting us use this great Helen Adam collage for the cover. More conversations in this vein coming soon. (Chapbook is free/digital so peruse at your own speed!)

For those people not in the library world (and perhaps for some who are), I started this online petition to ask the publisher HarperCollins to drop their licensing model of limiting library eBooks to 26 checkouts before they expire. This means that after 26 checkouts, the library has to consider whether to re-purchase an eBook license or forgo having the book in their collection. It's the equivalent of throwing out a physical book after 26 checkouts regardless of actual condition. This has the potential for creating gaps in the library's collection as eBooks reach their 26 checkout limit.

Please consider signing the petition and/or sharing this petition. It is 900 signatures away from 70,000.

Thank you.
