Principle #3 - #Understanding and #Judgement cannot exist together

You can always feel when another is judging you and even if the other is not saying or outwardly expressing it, it does not make you feel at ease to go deeper and truly change the behaviour they are judging you for.

It is always important to remember that Judgement closes the door on Understanding and lasting behaviour change requires understanding. With understanding we lay the foundation for people to feel safe to commit to life in full.

When we are judging we are not seeing or holding the other for the loving and amazing being they truly are. With understanding we can support the other by seeing them as much more than the unwanted behaviour that is not truly them anyway.

Principle #2 - Every #Behaviour Happens for a Reason

Yes EVERYTHING we do, say, think or express are all behaviours and are all forms of #communication. We are either using behaviours that are wanted/preferred and therefore communicating we are perceiving we have the skills required for what life is presenting us with. Or we are using behaviours that are unwanted/not preferred and hence communicating we are perceiving we do not have the skills needed for what life is presenting us with.

It is always worth remembering this as we often focus on the form of behaviour being 'good' or 'bad' rather than #understanding what might be going on for the person on a deeper level. And so we ask 'I wonder why?'

Principle #1 - Everyone uses unwanted behaviour, we are all the same.

All of us from time to time express behaviours we would not prefer to use. Fact. By this notion alone WE ARE ALL THE SAME. We are equal in the fact that we ALL have aspects of life we have mastered and aspects of life we have not mastered. and therefore are all students of life as we are all teachers of life.

No matter what you do in your day today, how much are you seeing everyone around you as equal to you and you equal to them? What can you learn from them and what can they learn from you?

Have you ever been hard on yourself, perhaps critical and judgemental towards yourself because of what you have done? Who hasn't and for most of us it feels normal to do this. But we cannot change our unwanted behaviours when we do this as we close the door on ourselves and any possibility of understanding. #Honesty and self-love with no #judgement and the core essentials in our tool box for mastering life.

Have you ever wondered why you are doing a certain behaviour you know is not truly beneficial for you or anyone else in anyway and wanted to stop it but couldn't?

Who hasn't experienced this before! Often we do not realise the full impact of all the past experiences we have had on our current behaviours and feelings and although we may have thought we have left something in the past, If you are still feeling hurt from these past experiences then this #hurt could well be still affecting your behaviours today.

What exactly is #anxiety? Most live with at least a low lying form of anxiety we may not even be aware of in daily life as it becomes the norm. Yet it is not normal at all to be anxious in any way and as the #bodylifeskills program teaches, it actually is a sign that we are not perceiving we have the skills to respond to what life is presenting us.
