What's so mysterious? The description here is Cage's origin from Hero For Hire no.1-2.

Still the one I am looking forward to the most...

On this date in 1997, Lex Luger put Hollywood Hogan in the Torture Rack to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title on Monday Nitro. I watched it happen.  Of course, Lex would lose the belt at Road WIld that weekend...

Played my first full round of golf on Saturday at Lakeview Golf Club in Piedmont. The course is very newbie-friendly, without a lot of water hazards (namely two holes, 12 and 13). I shot a 116, which, considering this was my first time playing 18 (instead of 9), I am okay with.

I hit a couple of shots I was very proud of. I had a great tee shot on #14 (par 3), hitting the green. I also made some very good chip shots on the front 9.  The end of the back 9 got frustrating, as I was clearly getting tired and my form was hurting, evidenced by my line-drive chips and some really lousy approach shots.

Still, I had a lot of fun (which is the point, right?) and am eager to get back out there. Maybe I can hit the range on my lunch break...

I don't mind the terrible reviews for Fantastic Four. What I mind are the netmarks proclaiming "I TOLD you it was going to suck, why are you surprised?!"

This bothers me because I have not seen a single person say they were actually looking forward to the new FF, or had high hopes for it.  The best -- I mean the absolute BEST -- I heard was "I'm taking a wait-and-see approach."

So going onto Twitter or Facebook and crowing about how you, in your infinite Comic Book True Fan-ness(TM) KNEW this movie was going to suck and OH WHY DIDN'T YOU LISSEN TO ME IMMA SMARTEST FANBOY IN THE ROOM is a really flimsy straw man argument, because no one was disagreeing with you in the first place.

Also: if the rights ever revert to Marvel (and frankly, Fox has not shown any inclination towards that so far, but who knows what the future holds), thinking that the FF will show up in a new feature any time soon seems a little short sighted.  They will need at least a couple of years to put this one behind them, meaning at the earliest we might see the FF in 2018. Understanding that Marvel has trained us all to think that 3 years is "not that long" but that's still a while down the road, isn't it?

Of course this is just my opinion. I could be wrong.

I really, really dig this biography for Wildrider's new persona, Brake-Neck! Good job of explaining not only his name change but his replacement on the team.  Cannot wait to get my hands on this figure. h/t to Ben Yee at http://bwtf.com/ for the scan.

I read & listened to that a while back. Interesting back-story about Janeway. Another book, Pathways, explores other crew members.
