The implications of Google Plus cannot be under estimated. For way too long I have been waiting to see what Google would do about Facebook. Those of you who know me know that Facebook annoys me for many reasons.

As I signed in for my first time and took a peek at the video's Google sent I was instantly thrilled to see they had taken the input from lots of folks like myself and implemented those things. Yes, there are still some things missing like a Basecamp feature for collaboration with colleagues that is private. You can do it but you'd have to sign up for a separate account. I think I will wait and see for now.

Domain names alone do not send more traffic to your website. You can have almost any domain and target it towards a search term. Example, I could buy xhaojfojad.com and target it towards Virginia Beach or Outer Banks Limo Service. A good domain makes it a little bit easier, mostly for humans. The Google Bot cares less about the domain name and more about the content.

You just have to love the notifications options for Google Plus! Can't wait until this takes over completely. No more Facebook, no more Twitter. Just one place for everything and it all seems to make sense for a change. Good grief. I own a web company and still have trouble understanding all the stuff inside Facebook. No more getting junk from friends and when I click the link it seems I have to join something else or do something more. I don't have time. This is business and I have a life. Google Plus has kept that in mind.

I got my Big Green Egg charcoal grill at A Culinary Affair. The great thing is not only the service (it was assembled for me free), it does not rust like other charcoal grills. I've had it since before Hurricane Sandy. It got completely over washed by the ocean. All I had to do was hose it out, fire it up and cook it off and it was as good as new. That is except for a few minor rust spots on the nuts and bolts of the metal stand. A little rust-oleum fixed that right up! The price was right too! Best grill I've ever had including charcoal and gas.
