In November 2014, I made the worst mistake of my life; having CAR TOYS install a high end radio into my vehicle. You would think that for a customer spending $2000 that you would get a great install and experience. NO!!!! So, the first round of issues started in November at the Aurora N. location. I had to go there three times (3), and with a lot of moaning and groaning , I finally got the master installer to correct the issue. Fast forward to today (2/8), I was having some issues with my Sirius control unit and my steering wheel controller that had recently gone rogue. That was the only issues that I was having. They took a look at it and replaced the Sirius unit and reprogrammed the steering wheel unit. When I got in the car, something did not sound right. My subs were not playing! I ran an errand and headed back to the Broad street location. The young girl grabbed my paper work and said that the technician wrote that the subs were not playing. I have never had an issue with my subs up until today. The Aurora N. location did not note this issue and they were playing as I drove to the Broad Street location. She went to go get the technician, he spent all of 10 minutes with my car in the bay and returned with everything looked OK, but said that we can't do anything further without charging you. I am really upset because they were playing as I drove to this location. Not to mentioned, I have spent enough money with CAR TOYS. At this point, its just going to end up as an argument and it my subs that aren't playing. So, whats the key take away from this story: DON'T PURCHASE CAR AUDIO FROM CAR TOYS. THEY LACK ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND THE TECHNICIANS ARE POORLY TRAINED. I REALLY DO HATE THAT I DID BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Horrible customer service. Bought new iPhone 6 at Littleton, CO store, employee dropped the phone when handing it to me and the screen shattered on the concrete. and THEY DENIED LIABILITY AND TOLD ME TO NOT EVER COME BACK TO THE STORE, NOT TO MENTION THEY DIDNT GIVE ME A NEW PHONE

Decent service. However, apparently it costs $165 parts and labor to install a auxiliary audio port into my 2006 Toyota Corolla. Seems expensive. But I’ll keep shopping around. Perhaps it’s the going rate.

These negative reviews are are flat out wrong! I won't take my car anywhere else. The service was beyond perfect. I went in so I can listen to my iPod in my car and they made my car sound AMAZING. I never knew a car could sound that good! Even after reading these bogus reviews, I bought the "ESP". If I never use it, I get a giftcard back...what is bad about that? Nobody even does that! And I never knew they detailed! They made my car look feel brand new inside and out! Thank you again Car Toys!

Prices are about standard, but the service was great. The installer went above and beyond to get us out the door and on the road before thanksgiving, even helped pair the phone and troubleshoot another problem on his own time. Highly recommended. Thanks.

I know you guys are reading all of the reviews here, and they all seemed to be negative. Well, Car toys is local to me, (+1)so I figured I'd bring up their online rep, and they seemed to be receptive to it. I tried installing a stereo with my son, but it quickly became to tough for us, so off to the installer we went. The installer checked out my car the day before, and remembered it the next day. (+1) They discovered the problems with my system, fixed it, didn't do any real upselling, just told me the facts. (+1) The interior of the store is dated and old, but who cares, really? I wasn't there for their interior decorations! I didn't get a huge street thumping system, just a basic set up and the install, and they did it for what they said they would... so there you go... a resaonable 3-4 star rating.

I had my car there at 9am to have an alarm installed, which they did correctly, but they told me 4 hours. By the time they closed at 9pm they still weren't done. This was a Ford Taurus. I can't think of a more simple car to work on. And then they charged me well over the estimate, I had to have a friend with a credit card come down to pay the balance or they were going to keep the car. Stereo warehouse might seem shady, but they know what they are doing just as well as these fools, if not better.

Great service I went in with my 1982 for f150. Gave them speakers they worked on them and istalled them my deck was broken they gave me a new one at a discount. They fixed my glove box for free and my window regulator was not working so they fixed it for free. I got a brand new car deck speaker install window regulator and new glove box for the low price of 400. I will be back very soon.
