I didn't think I'd ever go to a chiropractor again after not-great experiences with two different chiropractors in the past. But late last year I had surgery, and months later there was still an ache in my side that my surgeon couldn't really explain. That's when I started to wonder about adhesions/scarring. So I found Austin Spine and Sport online and decided to give it a shot because of Dr. Bockmann's great reviews on Yelp. I felt like he was thorough in that first appointment, ruling out other possibilities for the pain before suggesting a course of action. He also said it would probably take just a few sessions to take care of it. After two short sessions of myofascial release, the pain is almost entirely gone. I just finished the third and probably final session. Aside from the great results, it was also nice that it was resolved so quickly. I had a lot of sessions with each of the two chiropractors I saw in the past, spending quite a bit of money in the process, and I didn't see much in the way of results. It was also nice to explain what was going on without a doctor making me feel like it was all in my head or saying "keep an eye on it." (I had been "keeping an eye on it" for 2.5 months, it was not getting better.) I would definitely come back with any other issues. Dr. Bockmann redeemed chiropractors to me.
