Why Emotional Fitness ? Just as we need to stay physically strong, we need to stay emotionally strong. EFTI's exercises build emotional strength (Emotional Intelligence.)
Introduction
Author, licensed therapist but mainly an Emotional Fitness Trainer.  Served in the trenches both as a foster mother and then as the Director of Mental Health Crisis Teams in  New York City before, during, and after 911. A retired professor and adjunct professor, I have taught in two Ivy League Schools of Social Work as well as some lessor known schoos. Survived 12 years and 300+ kids as a foster parent. Thereafter. directed mental health crisis teams in New York's South Bronx before, during, and after 9/11. Now retired and living in the Wild, wild west and helping raise my grandsons. When not doing that writing, and promoting Emotional Fitness Training, Inc. Been there and done that more than most. and so my advice is practical and tested.

Our two grandsons, now 2 and 4 are lucky enough to live just up the hill from Creative Minds, so when it came time for Mom to return to work, the choice seemed obvious and turned out to be the best option to staying home with the help of a Nanny and few can afford that. Our family couldn't. We often pick the grands up for some quality grandparent time so have popped in at all hours. You should know that for years I provided short term foster care to troubled teens; I am also a licensed therapist; I directed mental health crisis teams for families and children in NYCity before, during, and after 9/11; I taught human behavior courses at both Columbia University and Smith College Schools of Social Work; finally, I have published 18 parenting and emotional fitness training books. When I say Creative Minds deserves a 10 rating, I know what I am talking about.
