This freaking problem.
Apparently my ISP is hijacking Google DNS responses. Okay fine, I'd been just using Level3's DNS servers for a while now, no big deal.
Since this past tuesday or so, it turns out that if I'm not using a) Google's DNS servers; or b) my ISP's DNS servers, some domains just simply don't respond to some requests. This "some requests" is almost 100% of the time for maps.gstatic.com
which is actually used to load up Google Maps' API and everything, for when I need to add a map to a page, but it also happens with pretty much anything from anywhere.
I also suspect it's the cause of me getting disconnected randomly from other things like Hangouts or videogames.
So, yeah. Don't subscribe to izzi if at all possible.
