I'm just a puppy #dachshund resting on a hotdog day! My eyesight might be limited but my hearing is exceptionally keen - I hear things humans could never hear.

Disabled Puppies born by backyard breeders - its terrible and sold on Craig's list, Kingsley was rescued by a wonderful rescue and foster team.

So glad you found each other. PBS ran a story about a man with a ranch for dogs and horses who have physical challenges. He said that they enjoyed life and got along fine. Some visitors ask where the blind horses are, and he says they're looking at them. Very heartwarming. =)

Future Comfort Canine in training
Baby Puppy Kingsley has severe separation anxiety. Due to being rescued and in a beautiful foster environment , he is still fearful and anxious and who knows all the things he has been terribly put through , still he is so willing to please and learn all the time -
At 15 months ...
It would break your heart to hear the back story so for today his eyesight may be limited to the human eye but not to him or me or those so far who have met him .

I introduce you to the most kindest, lovable and most courageous puppy! He challenges me to learn new things every day as we both explore the world with eyes wide open, hearts and minds wide open for love and kindness!

Goodnight Thunder shirt seems to help Kingsley with severe anxiety. Day 1 seems comfortable.

Being rescued is quite fun especially when going for a walk at the beach.
He really sees more than people do- I can testify to that, (his visual disabilities, from birth). ANd he has beautiful blue eyes!
He is a superior smart puppy and often called The King!

I just can't wait to be Kingsley!
Lounging around on a Sunday afternoon
Kingsley has seen a behavioral specialist for his separation- this seems like a good start.

An awesome staff with great kindness and love for all of our fur children on earth! TY!

It's important to keep in mind the high care standards that are needed especially in all the newest techniques/medicine for our fur children. I am so glad it's Pieper-Olson . Our dachshund had needed his second immediate emergency back surgery,( the first was not here but at a hospital in CT that has gone down hill in all aspects of care, personnel, and should not hold itself out as an emergency vet hospital and actually sent us away with a just wait and see plan- in my mind negligent and abusive), so it was this second event that we needed to seek out immediate care and have the surgery right away. This is the point, there was no hesitation with this outstanding Vet Hospital on what was needed and it was emergency care that was provided and surgery was performed as quickly as possible. The doctors we had are excellent esp. Dr. Cohen, and Dr. Hammond and neurology doctors. The technician staff are excellent in before and post op care and comfort and show devotion and love for your fur children - it's here. From the first step in the door until leaving, we were comforted and cared for with the utmost professional manner. I would want this care for myself. A 5 stars Awesome for fantastic care and this should be viewed as a model hospital. IF there is something that wasn't right, I would have said it here, for five days we had the best care you could imagine. and even afterwards or anytime you could call for assistance with friendly, loving staff . Super Kudos! TY to Dawn, Erin and Everyone who Loved Duker back to Health!
