Good article.
Summary: The proposed network neutrality rules the FCC is settling on don’t appear neutral at all. Here’s the conversation we should be having if the FCC really thinks our network policies need a rewrite.

As am I. With all the talk about net neutrality this has kind of slipped into the background. Personally, I don't engage in FB too much other than to catch up with what others are doing but the more I have dug into media psychology the more I have become aware of what the larger corporations are doing with the data users submit. As a nation we are woefully behind others in teaching media literacy, but in a society structured around capitalism I can see some of the reason why.

I tend to think Bill is much more altruistic than Mark.

Introduction
I’ve worked in communications in one form or another for more than 25 years – 21 of those in Army Public Affairs in various locations worldwide, and the rest as a management consultant focused on strategic communication and stakeholder relationship management in San Diego. My education includes various advanced military studies, a BA in Humanities, and an MS in Media Psychology (expected). I enjoy world history and culture, traveling, people watching, photography, the study of influence and propaganda — and margaritas on the rocks.

Stopped in for breakfast and was delighted by the friendly staff and the Huevos Verde. This was a full plate of traditional style Mexican fare at a reasonable price. The gentleman behind me was enjoying a heaping bowel of chicken soup with vegetables. It's worth the trip if you're in the Colton area.
