Check out the Further-o-Matic Forecaster - a crazy contraption spewing out industry predictions for 2014. Built by me, and lovingly designed by +Connor Edwards  #socialmedia

My Pico PiDuino was born from this kit, it's a great place to get started if you've got a Raspberry Pi to hand. On its own you might have trouble programming and powering it without spending another £15+!

I wouldn't say my plans are particularly awesome, but I have an amazing Papilio Pro FPGA board which can emulate a 90+Mhz Arduino ( dubbed ZPUino ) with more than enough RAM to comfortably drive an #EPAPER display. I'd love to bolt it into a copy of the RetroCade Synth (http://retrocade.gadgetfactory.net/)  firmware to give much more detailed information about the current synth patch and performance settings!

I've written up my early experiments with simulating a basic Microprocessor in Logisim. It's backed up by a rough assembly language with a Ruby compiler that outputs bin files compatible with Logisim's  "ROM" component.

Golden Abyss is frustrating me quite a bit on the PS Vita. Why? Because I have to touch the screen to navigate menus. It wouldn't be quite so bad if the menu navigation wasn't so bloody clumsy. Hello, developers? THE VITA HAS BUTTONS! Use them! Unless it's absolutely, positively, physically impossible to provide a button-alternative to a touch-screen operation, DO IT AT ALL TIMES. There is no exception to this rule. SONY need to implement analogue-stick scrolling in the web browser, not to mention the ability to navigate and enter text via the soft keyboard using the D-Pad and face buttons.

I take a look at the SONY PS Vita Starter Kit, provided by the lovely folks at MobileFun. It's got a fantastic little pouch case, as handy game/memory card storage box, a lanyard and a couple of screen protectors (front/back). Not a bad deal at ~£25 considering how much PS Vita stuff tends to cost. There's also a "Case" in the pack (separate to the pouch... yes... two cases... weird) which is absolutely abysmal... but it'll fit nicely in the bin.
