I am Remi, and I'm a 10-year-old Career Change Pointer who is looking for a loving retirement home! My friends at @pointerrescue_org say I have so much love and life to give, they will do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to find me my perfect family! #sograteful
I'm in a foster home in New York, and my foster family says I am BY FAR the one of their easiest fosters ever. #truth
I'm only 43 pounds, and I love to curl up on my people's laps, and snuggle with other dogs, too. #friends4ever
Not enough? I'm crate trained, polite on leash, and amazing in the car. I love kids of all ages and so far get along with the mysterious feline in my foster home. #catsareinteresting
If you think your place has "Remi Retirement Paradise" written all over it, just email my friends at pro_adoptions@yahoo.com. #hurry
I can't wait! #dreamscometrue
Love,
Remi
PS, share me, please? #loveya

I'm Shaq, and I'm hoping you can help me with a career change problem!
See, my former humans wanted me to be a guard dog, and whatever a parachute is, I can tell you it's NOT that color!
No, I'm a lover, not a fighter. In fact, I love all humans, all other dogs, the sun in the morning and the moon at night... I mean, I LOVE IT ALL!
Now, I realized early on that I'd be looking for a new gig ASAP, so I worked on all my basic pet dog skills: I'm potty trained. I never pull on the leash. I don't bark. I'm not destructive. I only go on furniture if invited. I can use a dog door. I am calm in the house and perfectly happy to snooze away the hours while you're out and about (although even happier when we can hang out together!).
I wasted a long time in that dead end job: SEVEN LONG YEARS. I'm totally dedicated to my new lifestyle, though, and I promise we'll have great times together if you just email, text, or call my foster mom, Brenda, at brendatuzak@yahoo.com or 510-847-0225.
I'm at Hayward Animal Services in Hayward, California. I am counting on you to help me get a home!
Love,
Shaq

Do humans get the zoomies? I sure hope so! I just love them, but it's so sad doing them alone!
Hi, I'm Rosie from Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania. My love of zooming doesn't mean I don't know how to chill. In fact, I like it so much I would enjoy being an only child in a quiet family even though I get along great with other dogs!
I like walks and hikes, and at 40 pounds, I'm the perfect size for any home! I'm also house and crate trained, and love greeting new friends when out on walks. Including small humans! They're so cute!
I think I could put my best paw forward if we met... just email Foster@providenceac.org to set it up.
And please remember: #SharingIsCaring!
Love,
Rosie
PS - someone loves me so much that they have sponsored my adoption fee! This means I can go home with my new forever family at no fee -- and you can spend all your savings on nice treats and bandanas for me! #StartAStoryAdopt

Meet Pointer Rescue Organization’s resident comedian, Joey!
This handsome 3 year-old is a happy, wiggly, goofy Pointer pup. Joey ALWAYS has a smile on his face and nothing seems to get him down. He’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face, too.
Joey loves romping and playing with other dogs, and would do best in an active home with another canine buddy. He gets along well with kitties, too.
After he’s done bouncing around, Joey’s happy to snuggle with you on the couch. At 51 lbs., he’s come a long way since being found as a skinny stray. All he needs now is you!
Joey is in Florida, but transport is available! Email pro_adoptions@yahoo.com to find out more!

How'd you like your very own Cover Dog and Tongue-Out-Tuesday superstar?
Well, good news... I'm avaliable!
Hi, I'm Eli, as you can see from my cover shot there. And while I may look like I live large from the outside, the truth is, I'm a homebody who likes nothing more than peace, quiet, and the snuggles of my beloved human.
I'm good with other dogs, although cats and me aren't on the best of terms. (If you could understand the things they say, you might feel the same!)
I'm only 3, so we'll have a lifetime to spend watching TV and just hanging out, and maybe engaging in my favorite hobby... squirrel watching!
I sure hope you can find time to share me or better yet, meet me! I'm at the SPCA of Texas in Dallas. You can email me at foster@spca.org -- I'll be sitting here hitting "refresh" on my email until you do!
Love and tail wags,
Eli, your future dog http://ow.ly/i/GxAtR

I am sweet, loving, and wonderful with children! So why have I been waiting TWO YEARS for a home?
Hi, I'm Willis, a pawsome 8-year-old hound mix in E. Northport, New York. I'm well-mannered, gentle with treats, and a real mush! I will roll over for a belly rub or a good scratch behind the ears. I'm playful and goofy, the kind of guy easily entertained by tennis balls.
Although frankly, I'd much rather take up space on your couch … and in your heart. I do need a cat-free home, but will look forward to a meet and greet with you and your other dogs! I even have my own Facebook page at Here's Willis and Friends!
You can call my peeps from the League for Animal Protection of Huntington at 631-757-9373 or email dogs@LAPHuntington.org to find out more or make a date to get to know each other. And of course, please spread the word... two years is a LOOOONG time! Too long for me!
Love,
Willis
