Hai every buddy! I am Pancake, and my friends at Animal Ark Rescue in Columbus, Georgia call me the Queen of Calm - which probably sounds pretty good this crazy time of year, right? (Although since I’m only 2 I’m really just a Princess.)

Even though I’m a serene and peaceful pal, I do like to play, especially with the water that comes out of the hose. That game is AMAZING! I just wish I had a forever person to play it with!

I was in a foster home for a while with two cats and we got along just fine, although I would need to be the only dog in the family.

I am an excellent leash walker and a real cuddlebug. Not only that, but my rating on Doggie Yelp says 11 out of 10 would pet me again!!!!

I have been waiting a year and a half for a person to fall in love with me, so please share me - or better yet, meet me! (I make an excellent first impression. Also second, third, fourth, and infinity.) find out how to make a date to get to know each other by emailing animalarkrescue@ymail.com!

Love,

Pancake

I got named after Homeland’s Nick Brody because I need a home(land)! Let's just hope my happy ending works out better than my namesake's!
I'm 5-6 year-old (I don't count so well yet), and am part hound, part shepherd part bat (the ears).
My friends at See Spot Rescued in New Jersey say I'm "a big goofball." I'm not sure what that is, but if a ball is involved, it must be awesome!
I love to play and run around, and then after I like to snuggle and show affection to my humans.
I have FLAWLESS manners and know all the tricks, plus I'm housetrained, crate trained, and can sit, die down, shake, and go to place if you say the word! All you have to say first is, “Come home with me, Nick Brody!"
Please email seespotrescued@gmail.com and ask about meeting me... a dog needs his home!
Love,
Nick Brody (the dog)

Spots, speckles, freckles, and splotches! How is this amazing kitten not adopted yet???

Pudding is at the East Lake Pet Orphanage (ELPO) in Dallas, Texas, where it's certainly easy to identify him in a group -- unless, or course, that group happens to be his littermates, who are also decorated in wacky spot motif!

What do you see in this furry little Rorschach? A future beloved companion, we hope! And one you're going to help find a home by sharing him!

Want to know more? Or better yet, meet him and gaze on his awesome beauty in person? Just email elpo@welovepets.net!

I did not come over on the Mayflower. I was not here to celebrate the First Thanksgiving. But I AM in Massachusetts and I DO want to spend my first Thanksgiving with my new family! That's why I'm coming to you for a boost!

Hi, I'm Lilly from Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, Inc. in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. I'm a very sweet and special friend -- also smart. In fact, I'm all the words that begin with "S" -- sassy, sincere, stylish, strong!

I can also be a little shy -- that's why the shelter is overwhelming to me. My friends there put me in a foster home, and it's just made me all the more determined to have a home of my very own one day, where I'll be your one and only pet and we can love and snuggle and go for walks and car rides together. (I love car rides!)

My shelter friends can tell you all about me if you email them at adopt@baypathhumane.org.

And that only leaves one more word that begins with "S" -- do you know what it is? It's "SHARE ME PLEASE!"

Love,

Lilly

Say hello to the very swoon-worthy Barnabas!

Barnabas is a 4-year-old, 61-pound lap dog at See Spot Rescued in New Jersey. He would love nothing more than to sit in your lap and shower you with puppy love.
When not snuggling up, this happy pup absolutely loves to play. When he's really excited he spins around until he gets dizzy and then lies down.

When he’s done spinning around, this smartypants would be happy to show you one of his many tricks: Barnabas knows sit, stay, bed, lie down, and off…he’s even housetrained!

With all he can offer, he only asks for one thing in return: a home without cats, please. One more bit of adorableness — Barnabas is a total mint fiend; he absolutely loves to eat mint leaves and his favorite toy is a Planet Dog Orbee Mint Scented Ball. Who says dogs don’t have minty fresh breath?

His next most favorite thing is having his adoption post shared!

Barnabas is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Email seespotrescued@gmail.com for an adoption application!

You know what happens when a kitty is too sweet, right?

That's right; diabetes. It's almost inevitable!

Hi, I'm Ace from Texas CARES in Dallas, and I'm a big smooshy guy - and yes, I got the big D. I've been trying not to be sweet - for example, by strictly rationing how many bellyrubs you can give me - but it's not my best thing. Same with head scritches and pets under my chin.

So here's the deal. If instead of me having to go against my nature and stop being sweet, what if some pawsome human could adopt me and help me with this medical issue? I'm on a special diet and I take my insulin like the champ I am -- easy! I pinky swear! In fact, my latest vet visit went so well I got a gold star. (They also called me "sweetie," which I think was very irresponsible for a medical professional, considering.)

Intrigued? Enraptured? Enchanted? Just email adoption@texascares.org to find out more or set up a meeting. And remember: To know know know me is to share share share me!

Love,

Ace
