I've been buying tools.... again! This one is an attachment for my locking wheel removal kit and it's specifically for Jaguar locking wheel nuts. I haven't tried it yet but a customer called up a few days back asking about removing locking wheel nuts from her X-Type.

Here's a good example of how not to do a puncture repair. This tyre was taken off of a customers car today,
They used the right patch/plug for the right job but whoever did it forgot to buff down the tyre first. It looks like all they did was apply some glue to the tyre and stuck the plug in. I managed to pull the whole thing out with two fingers. If it had been buffed down nothing would have been able to shift it.

First jobs today, fit two snow tyres to the rear of a BMW 1 Series and then drill out a stubborn locking wheel nut from a Saab. Not really what I want on a Friday morning but at least we're busy!

Just smacked my leg with a sledge hammer for the third time in two weeks in the same place! Removing locking wheel studs by force can be dangerous :(

Still no signs up on the new garage as you can see but we're still getting lots of unusual cars. This one is a fully restored Rolls Royce silver shadow. It was getting a couple of white wall tyres fitted to the rear.

I fitted 22" AMG diamond cut wheels to this one. It's a Mercedes ML, GL Spec. I didn't dare ask what those wheels cost but I can imagine.

It's pretty boring at Hectyre most days but now and then we get something nippy to play with :) 2000 Audi S3 with a chunky body kit.
