The first gingerbread house I did, after the holidays, I didn't have a place to store it, so took it to the backyard and caught a raccoon having a great time munching on it. I think some squirrels helped too.....took about a week for them to eliminate it. I think there were probably diabetic animals for a while.  LOL  Now I donate them so I don't have to figure out what to do with them. LOL
