How may we help you? Jeff's Bio: I have loved living in Costa Rica since 1993, and I enjoy helping people discover the beauty and charm of life at the beach and knowing that their investment decisions will be rewarded in multitudes of ways. After meeting a Tica-Gringa in L.A., we moved down here in November of 1993, we were married in 1994, and I received my residency shortly thereafter. In those days, Costa Rica offered 3 channels for cable TV, finding a “snickers” was like winning the lottery, home phone lines took years to obtain, and very few had ever heard the word “mall”. My, how times have changed!!! And while some may think Costa Rica is paradise, or others too much like the States, my sentiments lay in the middle. It’s a great place to live; it has many comforts of home, but everyday there are reminders that you are “not in Kansas anymore”. Moving to or investing in the Central Pacific coast area of Jaco, or Playa Hermosa, or Los Suenos Herradura, or Esterillos, or Bejuco is like making your vacation dreams become a reality. And this area really offers so many things to do, thanks to the Jaco Chamber of Commerce, and the Women's Group, as you'll see on our website... Having worked in Costa Rican real estate for over 15 years now and Great Places Real Estate in the western suburbs of S.J:, I have always strongly abided by the ethics of the National Association of Realtors and have been a member of the Costa Rican real estate board, CRGAR for many years. We will be honored to show you the best properties available, in your price range, and will work with you every step of the way to ensure the comfort, security, and wisdom of your exciting new lifestyle. Write or call us, we love it here, and are more than happy to share our knowledge of Costa Rica..... Pura Vida, Jeff

Global Tourism Monitor Names Costa Rica Top Destination in the World

The Global Tourism Monitor Survey questioned 23,000 globetrotters from 26 countries where they had traveled during the previous 12 months and which destination they would more recommend based on their experience there. The report, released this past week, ranked the top 65 most recommended destinations.

Costa Rica is famous for rain forests, volcanoes, world-class beaches, great weather, monkeys and sloths, what’s not to like? A new global survey confirmed that tourists love Costa Rica, naming the country most recommended tourism destination in the world.
Also one of the top retirement destinations…

With some of the best beaches in the world (on two coasts), one of the best climates in the world, and one of the best-organized and longest-standing expat communities anywhere in Latin America, Costa Rica has always been on our short list of places to live.

Add the facts that the country has no standing army, consistently ranks as one of the happiest places on earth, and has one of the best environmental records of any country on the planet, it’s no wonder so many baby boomers are see Costa Rica as a destination of choice for their retirement.

Says 20 year CR resident Jeff Fisher, after 8 years here, Playa Hermosa-Jaco Beach has been my favorite place to live in Costa Rica.

TOP 8 REASONS the Best Area to Live, Invest and Enjoy is Playa Hermosa Jaco, Costa Rica:
1. Its less than 1.5 hours from SJO Int'l Airport and the shopping/dining mecca of Escazu, on the new highway 27.
2. Best weather along the entire Central Pacific coast, with balmy breezes, and cooler temperatures than other Costa Rican beaches.
3. Jaco Beach has lots of businesses, cheap to gourmet restaurants, medical clinics, modern grocery stores, family activities to nighttime fun, plus all the government services are located here and almost all the roads are paved!
4. Playa Hermosa and Jaco offer 100% Titled beachfront in Costa Rica. Remember that only 5% of Costa Rica's beaches are titled, fee simple property..
5. The town of Playa Hermosa offers groceries 7 days a week, 5 restaurants, even live music at the popular Backyard Bar, only a few minutes away from the Hermosa Beach Bungalows and Hermosa Palms.
6. Only 10 minutes north of Jaco is the Los Sueños Marina & Golf Resort offering ultra modern conveniences and fun activities, and Manuel Antonio is only 1 hour south.
7. Rental income is excellent in Hermosa, as seen by great Trip Advisor reviews and continual repeat customers
8 . Hermosa Beach is only 7 minutes south of Jaco, yet feels like worlds apart, and offers beachcombers, joggers, and sunset strollers delightfully soft sand, and the visual artistry of the surfers enjoying interrnationally famous surf breaks, all surrounded by beautiful green mountains.
