In all seriousness, this TED talk by John Hodgman is one of the greatest stories ever told. I'm psyched for this show!

What's on Mr. Burns' iPad?
Mr. Burns used his iPad in the recent Simpsons episode Them, Robot, and, like the rest of us, he loaded it up with apps. They are funny: Am I Alive, Ukulele Hero, Google Naps, Captain Billu's Whiz-Ban...

Saw +Drew Magary at Boswell's Books last night with +Wesley Parkin and bought him a beer at Cafe Hollander.
Drew writes for www.kissingsuzykolber.com, and www.deadspin.com and has released an apocalyptic novel called The Postmortal.
I'm so happy he signed this photo of one of my favorite KSKharacters, the mighty Rex Cannon!
Drew will be at the Book Cellar in Chicago tonight @ 7:00PM. Buy him a beer if you're in town.

Picked up my copy of Skyrim for Xbox 360 yesterday.
Not entirely sure I'm ready for another 100+ hour commitment to an Elder Scrolls game... But it's pretty amazing so far.
16 square miles of game space?! I need to buy a horse!

"Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you." - Jeremy Clarkson
Great quote to start a long weekend of #ForzaMotorsport4
He might not be as fast as Tanner Foust or as handsome as John Hamm, but he got you and your mom and your mom's mom to start talking about cars. Here are what Jalopnik readers consider to be Clarkson'...

Having a fascinating conversation about the state of human interaction.
Do you think that people are, on an average of every human on the planet, better to each other now than they were in the 1930s?

I think that on average, they are. If you were any kind of minority group in the 1930s you had to deal with some small-minded perspectives.

John Hodgman at Turner Hall... Let the nerd humor begin!

Wow! Hodgman's written more jokes about George RR Martin than Martin has written pages about dragons.
Never been to a comedy show that spearated the Watership Down fans from the Henri Magritte fans and tried to pit them against each other... Genius.

Great read on social gaming, gamification and the human psyche in this wired article about cow clicker. If you like this article, read Neal Stephenson's latest book Reamde. http://www.wired.com/magazine/2011/12/ff_cowclicker/all/1

My wife has the nexus s, it's a nice phone. The prime should he even better.
My favorite line in the commercial - 'but I'm a creative.' 'Dude, you're a barista.'

Friendly staff, fair prices and a smooth transaction. Very happy with my recent purchase from Cream City.

Broken pumps, dirty, owners should show a bare minimum of pride in their business.

I recently ordered several Zero accessories from Harlan at Hollywood Electrics and had a great experience with a smooth transaction. Harlan made it easy to get hold of him, shipped my purchases quickly and was available to answer my questions. I would be nice if my local dealer was this responsive but I'm glad Harlan and his team are the standard bearer for Zero dealerships! And, as a bonus they put their time and money into advancing the state of the art in electric motorcycles too.

My recent refinance was a very poor experience and I would not recommend Wisconsin Mortgage to anyone who values clear, consistent communication. The team burned through a lot of my timeline at the beginning of the process, which limited my options as I got closer to my due date. They also were consistently incorrect on important details and did not meet a single commitment they made to me as far as communications and follow up. Over the two months I worked with them, I heard a lot of excuses and saw very little action. We eventually got the refi done under the wire but the process was a lot more stressful than it needed to be and I had to put up way more cash than if I would have if I went with a more responsive and customer-focused mortgage services firm.
