Have been here a few times, the food is pretty good. Hibachi has less options compared to other places, but the soup bar is really good. Today we saw a girl up at the buffet with a bird on her shoulder. YES, a real live bird on her shoulder. She was getting hibatchi and one of the cooks noticed it and pointed it out to the other cook. The girl took the bird off her shoulder and showed it to them (it was a cockatiel). This all happened right over the open food and sauces that everyone uses and eats. I told the girl that she shouldn't have a bird by the food and she just looked at me. I mentioned something to the young men working as hosts and they went to look for the bird. I knew it was crowded and they couldn't easily spot her, so when I found her and the location (still on her shoulder, but at a table), I made a point to let them know where. That is definitely a health code violation--she was petting the bird and it was flapping it's feathers and grooming itself in line for the buffet...that is not ok. We even proceeded to tell the manager who just wrote it off. Spent $54 for lunch on a Sunday, with a bird. Probably the first time I've left a buffet wanting to get food somewhere else afterwards.

We had an appointment with Abdel T. and after I told him the payoff amount on my car, we went and looked at some Souls. They advertise a car for $17k to get you in and then try to say it's $23k. When I looked up the add and mentioned it, I was told something about how that was the advertised price...ok, and? After a lot of back and forth, we finally came to numbers we could work with. We started to sign papers, and when I saw the amount listed for my pay off, I made sure to mention that wasn't correct, and was told it would be corrected. It turns out those numbers we liked were for the car without the rear view camera, like we had been discussing the whole time. First they tried to get us to come up with more money for a DP, or to come up on the monthly payment, but that wasn't happening. After more waiting, Abdel finally came back and said we were moving forward with those agreed upon numbers, with the car I wanted with the rear view camera and we had to resign everything again. Once again the payoff amount listed for my car was incorrect, and I made a point to mention that--it was $1k less than it really was, the number I gave him when I walked in the door. Again, I was told, it's NBD...So once we finished the paperwork with Abdel, it was around 4:45, and we were told it was a matter of waiting for the contract. It wasn't until after 6:30 we were called into one of the managers offices thinking we were finally going to sign the contract, we were faced with more bad news. The pay off amount on my car was wrong (DUH), and the deal was based on the pay off amount being less. Funny, I had corrected the payoff amount many times. Why did they make us wait two hours to tell us that? I stressed that the payment we had agreed upon was still at the top of our budget and I wasn't going any higher. "You can't pay another $20/month?" NO! The manager tried pointing out to the sheet with the numbers listed out, saying that my payoff rate was on there incorrectly and I signed it, but it didn't say "payoff rate," and Abdel didn't go down the list of numbers explaining what everything was..maybe that's something they need to reconsider, especially if they're going to try to hold customers to that amount on that sheet generated by their employees. Or maybe they should make less clerical errors. Good customer service dictates to come and update us, let us know what is going on, not make us wait 2 more hours to find out yet again they messed up for the second time and ask us for more money, because that's exactly what happened. They wanted us to come up with more money, or give up the features I wanted, but keep the payments the same. They were saying the price difference was $500--yeah, the factory price difference for the camera, but we weren't getting factory price anything. They also tried getting me to take the car in the hopes of getting a better deal with the banks on Monday for a lower interest rate to make up the difference, which sounded like an absolutely horrible idea. Why would I drive off the lot with a car payment I don't feel comfortable paying in the hopes of something working out. Dealer tags were also offered, which is a total sales move hoping I'd love it and keep it for a higher price, but I wasn't going to set myself up for disappointment when I had to return it on Monday. I have since read reviews where other buyers did this and their cars were no longer on the lot come Monday for some reason or another and I am so thankful I didn't fall for that. After all the mishaps, there is no way I could trust them to come through or make some error that results in my car being missing. When someone gives you their bottom line, don't come back multiple times because of your clerical errors and try to make them agree to something that is more than they wanted to pay in the first place all in the name of a sale. That is a quick way to kill a deal and lose business, which did happen. I ended up going to Jenkins Honda and left with a 2016 Honda Fit, paying the same exact amount we had discussed, so thanks :)

I had a great experience buying my new Honda Fit from Jenkins on Sunday. We wasted 6 hours the previous day at Orlando Kia North and were about to purchase a Soul when they couldn't honor the price they originally offered. We had inquired about prices listed on True Cars and heard from Savannah. We went in to check out the Fit and after a test drive, started to talk numbers. The only thing I would change about the experience is the hassle of all the back and forth--I know they're making a sale and it's commission based, but we came in based on the numbers quoted on True Cars, which said that they are to honor the True Cars quote. When they knew we were coming in, it should have been known that was why we were there and not to bother pitching other offers, but I know that's part of the business. We weren't interested in the Jenkins package or anything that would up the cost, as it was already at the top of the price range we were comfortable spending--the True Cars number was what got us in, and that was what we wanted to work with. That aside, we worked with a new salesman, Galen, who was very nice and patient. We had our 2yo son with us for the deal and everyone was understanding about the fact that he wanted to run around and at any point in the deal, one of us would have to take off after him (some parts of the process were done in the kids zone, or near by so we could see him playing). Michael in finance was very kind and downplayed our toddler's attempt to get into everything in his office and even went to get some toys from the kid zone to try and placate him. We also stopped by Jenkins Honda on our way back from Tampa and hadn't really planned on driving home with a new car that day, so we didn't have the trade in vehicle on us, but they went above and beyond and had Galen ride back to Orlando with me to get the trade in and bring it back to Leesburg. This was right at closing too, so Galen was a great sport and got hime to his family later than anticipated, but saved us the major headache of having to coordinate bringing the trade in out to Leesburg and dropping it off (and driving two cars out there). I love my new car and am very happy with my purchase! Thanks Galen, Michael and everyone else at Jenkins Honda that helped us with the deal!
