Dined here late (11pm) after an event and while the service was great, decor was fabulous and they had a good wine list, I just wasn't impressed with my flank steak entree which was doused in oil and Chimichurri sauce. The charcuterie and cheese appetizer was pretty good, though. They offer patio seating with heat lamps, which was definitely a plus.

Went to 2nd Bar and Kitchen with 2 other adults and a baby. We were seated outside right when we got there (6ish on a Saturday) and the heaters/tarp wall thing kept us very comfortable. The staff was polite, knowledgeable, accommodating but not overly chatty - 5 stars. I had the soba noodles, delicious and fulfilling for vegetarian. The other two dishes at the table were the salmon with porkbelly coconut fried rice (delicious) and the short ribs and mashed potatoes (equally as good). The truffle fries were perfect to kick off the meal. We also split two desserts (german chocolate cake and the carrot cake) and honestly they were the worst part of the meal but still good. I don't think I'm personally as into big changes to classic desserts. The sides "ice creams" were really good though. All in all, a great evening. The baby ate Cheerios, she hasn't quite developed the "palate" yet ;).

Second Bar + Kitchen left me in awe of how delicious a pizza could be! I love the ambiance and loved the food even more. The black and blue pizza was one of the best pizzas I ever tasted and the steak is good too. Many of the appetizers were also yummy and the drinks are sophisticated and strong (just the way I like them). The restaurant is not large and reminded me of a typical NYC spot so don't be alarmed if another table is close by. Second Bar + Kitchen isn't cheap, but the food was well worth it in my opinion. If you want to be knocked off your feet, give this place a try!

Though pricey, they do really nice small plates. You can get some deals during happy hour if you can make it. Also, Sunday afternoons tend to be a little sleepy if you want to sneak in then.

Ideal location and stylish setting at bottom of Austonian. Menu items looked creative and tasty. My date had a salad that was crisp and flavorful. I don't recall the name. I had a pizza that was not as good as hoped. Toppings were hastily placed on pizza and didn't look that appealing. Crust was dry. Not sure why this place gets such rave pizza reviews. Certainly tastier options downtown.

Really good food but as others have mentioned a bit pricey. Wait staff was all amazing, food came out quickly and the place has a really cool vibe.

I originally made a reservation for my celebratory graduation lunch for about 10 people which at first was a little confusing because the hostess only offered the bar until I asked if there was outside seating available. Some of my party was a little late because they were from out of town which seemed to annoy the waitress, even though we ordered without them. The music on the patio was super loud so it was hard to hear anything/anyone and especailly when trying to order. The chicken salad sandwich was really good but I didn't realize the side was large potato chips since it wasn't clearly stated on the menu and the waitress didn't bother asking if we would like anything as a side so I ended up having to order a couple extra sides of fries since several people at the table experienced the same issue. All in all, it wasn't the worst dining experience but had the server been a little more accomodating it definitely would have made the occasion more special and enjoyable. Everyone did like the food immensely though.
