Not sure about the fella that indicated that they are basic mechanics, he must have a screw loose and like to get charged dealership prices for same quality work. Get it "Screw loose" lol.... I have taken my cars there for years and always get excellent service and I observe Jared and Chris always treating the customers with respect unlike some of the dealerships. One thing about this mom and pop shop, is they take pride and the employees aren't just there for a job....

So I brought my Volvo to Bertini's so that way I could get a diagnostic on the "check engine" light and other sounds the car was making. They mentioned a couple of issues like brakes, brake line and struts etc. which I went and had them all changed by a much cheaper just as capable mechanic. Here's my issues with Bertinis, the man there suggested I changed all three motor mounts and said it would cost over $700 dollars to change on an old volvo that doesn't cost much more than that. Well I bought all the OEM parts myself and had my real mechanic change it (which is easily done with two jacks and some basic tools you don't need to be charged over +$250 for a very basic job) and it turns out the motor mounts were still in good condition. They were all intact, no rips, no brakes. They were perfectly fine. they lied to me just so I could fork out $700 dollars for a repair anyone with a brain and some basic tools can do. OH! And the volvo mechanic there doesn't even drive german or swedish cars. He owns a toyota and a nissan, he said he doesn't like european cars. Go figure, so the mechanic working on your car doesn't even like or drive the type of cars her works on! and on top of that he doesn't work on it at all, some rookie who likes to smash on the brakes and literally peel out at the shop works on it. Yah I saw him pull up driving a my car like a jackass and no one even batted an eye. these guys are basic mechanics that charge you a lot for basic work. they think you can be charged an arm and a leg just because the car is european. bunch of scumbags, guess what Bertinis I changed my anti-sway bars, brakes, Tie-rods, brake hoses, struts in my backyard with a jack and some basic tools. Thanks for the diagnostic! You forgot to mention that my tie rods and anti-sway bars are broken!! what did you charge me $160 dollars for? So you can tell me my brakes are low, or that my tire pressure is uneven? I have eyes and a brain any idiot can see that. thanks for taking my money, not taking care of my car, lieing to me to about parts that aren't broken and then NOT EVEN TELLING ME ABOUT THE PARTS THAT ARE BROKEN!

I wanted to thank Bertinis for their exceptional customer service and professionalism. Every time my car has been in for service they have been nothing but accomodating. They went above and beyond with providing me a rental car for a day. That was topped the next time my car was back for the engine light, when I picked up, there was no charge and my car was washed! First class operation. I highly recommend all friends and family to Bertinis!

Great Service, Great Guys, the entire team takes a personal interest in getting the job done right. This last time (clutch) was over the top. Priced right, considering if you can beat their bid, you'll know you are throwing the dice and you won't be getting any personal touch. For several years now, my BMW 330ci always comes back running smooth and cleaner that when I brought it in. Thanks again team Jared / Chris!

I will never go anywhere else again! Solution: That night I called our Very Trusted Bertinis. They got us in the next day. Drained out an extra half gallon of over filled oil. Pulled the radiator shroud and used the proper tool to tighten the bolt that was leaking. No new radiator needed. Amazingly its fixed!!! Problem: I had taken the MLK 320 to a Different shop right around the corner from my house for an oil change and to have them tighten a bolt on the radiator to stop a leak. Easy stuff right? Well they way over filled the oil and told me that I need a new radiator. It was leaking out of every hose, seal, and tail pipe... I told them I would be by to pick up the car. That night when my wife was driving the car there were many new codes, a flashing red engine light with the over fill oil light...

These guys know their stuff, and even with high hourly rates they are cheaper that either the Mini or VW dealerships every time we've compared prices.

Very good service; We had the engine mounting replaced, the job was done in time and priced well below the dealer ship quote. Chris is very professionl and the service is exellent. All the the work we done here was always on time in within the quots. I only can recommend Bertinis.

This place lies and takes advantage of you. I went to them after getting a better quote than the dealer, but it was a mistake. They fixed the driver side fan as requested, but I came out with the passenger side broken. I know it was working when I went in. I heard it running even that morning. They denied any responsibility and suggested I had them fix the wrong side. I have the paperwork from VW showing that their diagnostic confirmed the driver side was broken (not passenger), I also called them back just now to confirm it was the driver side (yes it was) and I had visually looked at it with my dad and we both saw the passenger was working and the driver side was not just days before the disaster "repair". Bertini's still says it's not their fault and offered to fix the other fan for $500, which is $100 more than the dealer for a part they broke. Run, run far away. I'm making sure to spread the word to all my friends and family to take their business elsewhere!!
