Over priced for the quality and quantity of food.. Portions are extremely small.. starters tasted store bought.. place is a hole in the wall.. and is waaay over priced! Waiter couldn't understand our order.. everything she suggested we try were expensive specials which were worse than the food on the normal menu.. Did I mention the place is over priced.. Oh! and you pay 18% gratuity if you go in a pack.. we were 6! They took forever to bring our orders, and the only reason we went was to save time as we work nearby!

We stopped into sweet basil tonight and grabbed some take out. We were very impressed with the quality of ingredients and execution of all 3 dishes. The Fried potstickers were cripsy and golden brown with a delicious soft center. The dipping sauce was very well balanced and full of sesame seeds. The Fried rice with BBQ Pork was full of meat and delicious veggies and lots of egg (Just how we like it) and not greasy like most others. And finally the Sweet Basil Noodles. Simply amazing! bursting with flavor and spice. The tomato's melt in your mouth and the chicken beef and shrimp were all very tender and well cooked. We loved the crispy green onions as well. We agreed we will order this dish every time we stop in. We will be back to try some of the seafood soups next.

I popped in on a dinner break leaving my boss out in the truck. (Tiny parking lot) The seafood fried rice was $14.50, so I assumed it would be great. Boy was I wrong. First, the wait was just under a half-hour, the rice was bland and dry, very little seafood, and when I asked for sweet n sour sauce, she had the nerve to charge 50 cents per packet. Most asian places are stingy with sauce, or give you mean looks when you add them off the dining room tables, but that alone motivated me to write this review, and take my business elsewhere

Billed twice on credit card. Took appetizers 15 minutes. Served main course in 1 hour. (3 other tables were seated). The fried cheese rolls were good and a no brainer. The spring rolls were almost all lettuce with 2 shrimp -- very bland tasting. Ive tried spring rolls at many other restaurants and these were by far the poorest tasting and least effort taken. The pad thai presentation was good and it was cooked ok, however, it tasted like and appeared like they added a 1/2 cup of canola oil to the dish -- which made it excessively oily and hardly pallatible. My friend had the lomein and ate 3 bites -- he didnt care for it. The restaurant was bright and clean but had no ambiance at all. WE WONT BE GOING BACK. The pad thai wont go to waste -- my rat terrier will finish it off.

Came here for a lunch gathering with a few colleagues, and I'll never make that mistake again. The waiter was exceptionally rude, and snappy. We were in a time crunch, so I asked if we could order when the waiter came over to our table, and she snapped back, "you'll have to wait for the other tables I've seated to order their food before I will take your orders." Next, they got two of the three orders wrong, and then one of the orders of chicken was undercooked and had blood seeping from the bone. I was so embarrassed for choosing this restaurant and bringing my colleagues. To top it off, it took over an hour to get in and out of the place. Very frustrating, and now I feel my co-workers are hesitant to let me pick places for lunch meetings anymore.

Horrible service. With only one other person in the place the waitress to forever to seat us and left us sitting for another five minutes before bringing out water. After ten min waiting to order drinks we got up and left. Beyond rude!

Previous reviews were right! Great food, great values ($6.50 lunch!), and very friendly staff. The pot stickers were the best I've had on this side of the Pacific.

They have great tasting food and plenty of it. I had pad thai noodles and enough for another meal and more.
