Ok, does anyone know what the effect is called, or have an example they can link to, where something (in this case text) looks like it's broken down into thin lines that are slightly offset vertically? Almost like a distorted analog signal? It's usually accompanied by a distorted whining sound in video. I'm doing a poor job explaining this, and I know what it looks like in my head, but my memory isn't high-res enough to be able to emulate it. This is driving me crazy, please help!

"Without the distortion of a credit bubble, it is clear that far too many Americans don’t know how to do anything that the world is willing to pay them a living wage for. No economic theory offers them easy salvation.

We don’t need to become a nation of app designers. An economic downturn is a great time to learn things — carpentry, say, or aerospace engineering — that others will eventually pay for."

"Nobody cares about the quality of the picture. Nobody cares about whether it was taken with good ethics. Nobody cares, they just want it.”
