The food was absolutely HORRIBLE! It lacked taste and the lamb was beyond overcooked. Then to make matters worst I called to express my frustration to the manager and NOTHING was done to make the situation better. This place used to be La Barraca and I wish it never closed because this restaurant is a HORRIBLE replacement with poor food. Don't make the mistake of trying it thinking you will get something close to La Barraca. BEWARE!

Worst Place EVER!!!! Service is terrible!!! We were forced to have one of the party menus, because we were a party of 16... The chef just came to us and took the regular menus away!!! He said we couldn't order from that!!! Extremelly RUDE! We were waiting for the birthday girl, it was a surprise party, so we couldn't leave... After we discuss, we decided to have the cheapest option, the U$22.00 per person menu... So disappointed... Service was not being given to our table at all! Some of the people got their food 20 minutes ahead from the others... Then, when we decided to leave anothe problem... We wait 1 hour for the check!!! And I looked at my account today and SURPRISE I was charged twice!!!! It ruined not only my night but my whole weekend!!!! Listen, find another place with you really wanna have good service, fun and no worries later...

Great restaurant and bar. Authentic Spanish food, Lots of food for the price, good value (left overs to take home). Paella is some of the best this side of the Atlantic. Definitely go when they have the flamenco show... like a mini-vacation to Spain. Family-owned and operated, "good people" to say the least.

A Taste of Spain. Went to Spain, had a great time and have been missing it ever since. Once I heard about La Barraca Tapas Bar & Café, I suspected a visit would be great opportunity to hopefully experience what I have been missing. From the outside of the restaurant to the inside decor, you know their goal is to make you feel as if you're in Spain. You are even greeted in Spanish. As soon as you're seated you are offered wine or sangria. I choose sangria and although it was good, I have had better. Be careful when ordering water, because they will bring you a bottle of mineral water and charge you $5. Their complimentary bread was delicious, but only because their garlic butter amazing. The tapas we ate were great, my favorite being the Fillet Mignon Kabob with Potatoes. The meat was tender, sauce mouthwatering and potatoes an added bonus. We also ordered Jamón Serrano (Spanish cured ham imported from Spain) because that was a favorite when we were in Spain and the Churrasco De Carne Con Mojo Picon (skirt steak with "mojo" from the canary islands). Both were also really good. My only disappointed was that I didn't try more, but I have the next visit for that. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 & 10pm they put on a Flamenco Show. The flamenco show was entertaining, but having experience an authentic show in Spain, it just was not the same, but it was still a great show. Note that if you dine at the restaurant during those times, they will tack on $5 per person to your bill for the show. Other than the unexpected charged for the show and the water, everything was reasonable prices. La Barraca Tapas Bar & Café is a fun place that makes you feel like you're in Spain. They offer a wide variety of Spanish tapas, great wines, and an excellent live Flamenco show. And since I am unable to visit Spain all the time, La Barraca will be my alternative when I am missing it.

The service ranked at the bottom of what you would expect from a higher end Hollywood restaurant. The salad was served after the main course, the whole meal came so late we had to stay for the second show. The highlight has to be the part where they tried charging us $1400 for an $850 bill. Will never return and suggest a different restaurant if you want to enjoy yourself.
