I hosted an event for 60 people there this weekend and it has been an absolute pleasure - my guests had a blast. The food was delicious and over-flowing (Russian-style). Mark (owner) has been a pleasure to work with - incredibly professional and reliable (this is after another restaurant, Stroganoff, bailed on my event 5 days prior to it - avoid it at all costs)! Irina, who is the restaurant manager, is the life of the party - makes sure everything runs smoothly but also entertains the crowd. The music quality is one downside - I wished for a much better quality sound system, but hey, this is not a club. Overall, a fantastic experience & highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I were driving around and thought that this place looked nice. Inside they had live Russian pop music (a little too loud for my taste). We had the blini as an appetizer, I had the rack of lamb and my girlfriend had sturgeon in some kind of lobster and cognac sauce. The blini ended up being creps (instead of yeast risen pancake-type things) served with a terrible salmon row and some smetana. The roe was so bad that we could only handle one bite of it. The main courses were very nice, though quite small portions. I thought that the lamb was better than the sturgeon, but they were both very nice. My girlfriend had a glass of a very nice Sauvignon Blanc. The service was very friendly.

The place was empty but the decor was excellent so we took a chance and ended up really enjoying enjoying the food. This is definitely a place you want to bring the out of towners for an experience in Russian dining. Excellent table set with beautiful linens and dishes. The sole was great, the borzk was terrific, the rack of lamb melts in your mouth, and the pelminny?? was awesome. It cost $66 for 3 but it was worth the experience.

When we arrived at 8:30pm, the door was closed in this far suburb restaurant, because of no clients. Don't waste your time trying to reach such a place.
