FIREWORKS TONIGHT!! The FWH back lawn is the prime spot to take in the show. Convenient parking for just $10 for non-hotel guests. The Veranda Bar is right there for a cold beverage. No need to walk a half mile like one of the herd. The best view of the lake and the best view of the fireworks!

The news is out! The Fort William Henry Corporation is in the early stages of developing an on-site craft distillery which will use locally sourced grain. The plan is to create vodka and gin at first, then whiskey and rum later on. We will have more to tell this fall.

A few years ago, I was DJing at an event. I proceeded to take a good amount of Liquid LSD and make my way through these hallowed halls. The grounds are amazing for getting lost. The hand dryers were rude and abusive. My friends mustache kept growing. I met some festival transients in the basement of the Conference Center. It's haunted or at least that's what my friend Alex said. 10/10. Would go here again.

This is how I remember hotels on trips as a kid in the 80s! Clean. A little louder than most modern hotels. Sauna, Jacuzzi, indoor pool...pretty cool, quaint place Great for a family vacation...maybe not the best choice for a romantic weekend getaway

Just had a brief, but awesome stay at FWH . Went on a Groupon - the most inexpensive one . We had an amazing view of the lawn, lake and mountains. We had breakfast each morning in the White Lion dining room (amazing view) using coupons that came with the Groupon purchase. All of the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. In fact, ALL the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. First rate treatment even with discounted rate. Can't wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy the grounds a bit more. I've stayed in multiple hotels in the Lake George area in the past, but since my first stay at FWH about 10 years ago, this is the only hotel I will ever stay in. If you want to enjoy Lake George, there simply is not a better place to stay - you may find a more luxurious room, but that will be the only thing that might be better. FWH has it all.....friendly, helpful staff, the right amenities, amazing grounds, best views and the very best location.

The rooms are amazing and we'll managed. The service they provided for my grandfather's navy conference. The ballroom and staff were exceptional. I would strongly recommend the Fort William Henry.

This hotel is one bad experience booked 2 rooms over the app. Nice location beautiful views but they gave me 2 motel type rooms. So i upgraded for $25 per night they changed me 3 times. No free parking. No free Internet no free breakfast. Never going back to that hotel.

Hotel is at a great location with amazing views of Lake George and close to the beach and village of Lake George. We had a jacuzzi king suite, but the jacuzzi did not work so we spent the extra money for no reason. The cable connection is very poor so watching TV at night was frustrating as it kept cutting out. Free, insecure Wi-Fi, but this also was not a great connection. Staff are super friendly and helpful! Breakfast is not complimentary and is overpriced for what you get.

COMPLEMENTARY PINK EYE WITH YOUR STAY!! Booked it hoping for a nice weekend getaway with family. Our stay started out OK... The room wasn't too special, a bit musty, but nothing obviously horrible, staff seemed nice (at first). We made a mistake of actually using their pool. By the time we got out our eyes turned pink. My husband and son's eyes cleared a couple of hours later. Mine not so much. I woke up the next morning with my eyes sealed shut. Realized this was serious and we needed to see a doctor and we needed to end our trip early, so called the front desk and told them all about it. You'd think they would be apologetic at the very least, right? Wrong! We were told they do the best they can. That was that. They were intent on checking us out before any guests could see us (and my pink crusty eyes). When asked them about reimbursement for our stay they said to deal with Groupon directly. Fine. I called Groupon and told them all about it. They called the general manager Sam Luciano about the refund... and he refunded 1/3 of our fee. Apparently, he thinks it's appropriate for us to pay for an eye infection, and for a portion of a day we did not use (you know, since we had to rush to the emergency room due to their inability to maintain safe conditions). Definitely worst hotel experience I've ever been through!

Came for a confernce dung their off season. Both the conferndenrooms and bedrooms felt a little old, but they were very accommodating and made sure the whole event ran as smooth as possible.
