"THINK BEING GAY IS UNNATURAL?"  A recent article posted on Gay Star News with this heading, explains research done on various animals to study their sexual behavior.  Interestingly, the male giraffe apparently have a unique way of flirting and occasionally to show dominance, that is "necking"; not seen anywhere else in the world. This research study, discovered that 94% of all observed sexual activity in the control group was defined as gay sex.   "Two males stand side by side, and gently rub their necks on each others body, head, neck, loins and thighs. In some sessions this goes on for as long as an hour. This leads to sexual arousal. And while necking can sometimes lead to orgasm in of itself, sometimes they mount each other to finish each other off."  Zoologists estimate that over 1500 animal species, besides humans, engage in homosexual activities. The giraffe's behavior is most unique.as heterosexual activities are less common than homosexual. These studies were done in Arusha and Tarangire National Parks in Tanzania; and as expected, birth rates among this sampling group were very low - 22 births among 172 female giraffes.  Not surprisingly, there are counter opinions as to how "natural" this giraffe behaviors is.  A recent blog post on this issue reads, "The gay giraffe lobby wants us to accept that gay giraffes are natural, but it couldn't be a more unnatural and sinful lifestyle choice. Gay giraffes only exist because they were raised by gay giraffes, because they were abused, because they didn't get enough hugs from their giraffe dads, and because their teachers weren't allowed to lead prayers in school". The recent changes to the laws regarding homosexual behavior in Uganda, might force most of the male giraffes in the Ugandan National Parks to migrate out of the country.
