Great advice! "Spark" a child's curiosity instead of over-explaining.
Instead of being quick to TEACH your child, try sparking their natural curiosity and then sit back and watch the magic happen. This is a much better way of reaching them and helping them learn about the world around them.

This happens to me all the time. With so much to say, it's important to edit.
Often, people we encounter have heard of Montessori, but don’t know very much about what it entails or how it works. When someone expresses interest in learning more, what do you say? Talking about Montessori is an excellent way to build links to your educational community and to connect with people who might be interested in discovering more. The key to successfully capturing a listener’s interest is understanding what different parties will be most engaged with. Strangers who want an overview, parents who are interested in your school, or a colleague who teaches at a conventional school, will all have different outlooks on Montessori.

Great ideas to create peace at home.
One way to help children deal with their emotions and find peace is to introduce a peace basket into the Montessori classroom. A peace basket contains items that are meant to help children feel calm and self-soothe.

There are so many parenting blogs these days, that writing about how to be a "good" parent has become a business. Regardless, sometimes, a quick list of how to stay positive when you're looking at a three day weekend with the kids, is just what you need to make it amazing.
