I've wondered about this! When I broke my arm and couldn't get it wet or barely move it, I actually thought about you, Monica. I learned to blow dry my hair by turning upside down and simply letting it go "natural." I didn't like it, but it was better than doing nothing. I had to type with one hand for weeks, and got decent at it, but dictation software helped a lot. Opening jars--like small jars of makeup was one of the hardest things. How do you deal with that? Also, one of my least favorite things, believe it or not, was pulling up my pants, buttoning them and zipping them. It took forever! I suppose you figure these things out over time.

I don't think there's another precious metals company out there that works as hard to be ethical, and that's why I like working with Augusta. They get great reviews. You can see them at the Better Business Bureau, TrustLink.org, Yelp--places like that with comments from real customers. https://plus.google.com/+Augustagoldira

Charlie Burton is the best! We used to listen to him at the Drumstick in Lincoln, Nebraska, when we were in college. In-your-face, tongue-in-cheek rockabilly, rock and roll tones I love!

All those things are good for "big" kids to know, too. :) Thanks for explaining and sharing this cool story.

My cover photo was taken along Highway 1 near Cambria, California. Such a pretty day...I was taking it in as fast as I could as i traveled up the coast to visit my cousins in Washington. Not enough time to work, travel and play!

Thanks for sharing your thought on this, Monica. I can imagine the frustration. I think when life throws people lemons, even if they can't make lemonade, at the very least it's a lot less difficult if they can accept what's a given and then figure out how to work around it. I felt that way after divorce. I knew I couldn't change it, so I had to start looking forward rather than backward. If I didn't, I believed it would be my fault I was so miserable. I guess it's the Serenity Prayer thing. Some days it's easier than others, right?
