I'll give them 3 stars. Simply because they were quick to get me in something that fitted my needs, after being without a car for a week from a wreck. I only gave them 3 because, just like every other female on here, the men up there are terrible when it comes to women. they look at you like a piece of meat, they flirt with you, they are all a bunch of old, pervy men. don't wear an open shirt or button down, they wont even look at your face, its completely ignored in conversation. As far as having good cars, and the service dept, AWESOME. I love my 15 KIA Forte. I've heard awful things about the KIA Dealership in Antioch as well.

I have yet to purchase a car from large dealership such as this one. I have shopped around at many used dealerships and felt as though I was being scamed. After spending long days searching on several occasions with friends and family members I have made the choice that when I am ready to purchase a car wether it be used or new, Universal Kia of Rivergate will be the place I choose. On one occasion I visited with my Aunt who was looking to trade her BMW we spoke with Arthur Williamson the salesman and a gentleman named Chris Saloom. Both Arthur and Chris greeted us as if we were members of their own families. They extended great customer care towards us. My aunt was actually set on trading the BMW for a Hyundai. We decided to stop in to KIA just to look around. I am happy to say that my Aunt is the proud new owner of a 2014 Kia Optima SE. After leaving there in her Kia she was sure that she had recieved the very best attention and deal for her trade in. Since then she couldnt be more happy with the car itself. The Kia Optima is an AMAZING car. It drives like its on rails. Because of the wonderful service we recieved that day when it came time to purchase a new car for my boyfriend (who was dead set on a Nissan Altima) I searched online for KIa's used car inventory and asked my boyfriend if he would be willing to go test drive a KIA he was not very optimistic, but he did anyway.. The same day he test drove the Kia Optima he drove home in one. He was so impressed with the quality of the vehicle and the outstanding service he recieved he said he didnt need to look any further and he wanted the Kia. Arthur and Chris were also our team members on this occasion. Now when we go in to KIA for service work they know us by name and I would recommend this dealership and Chris and Arthur to anyone. When the time comes to trade my car in I will only make one stop.

I traded for a used Kia Sedona. The AC did not work and they said they would fix it. I did not hear back from them for 7 days AFTER the deal was completed. Then when I said I wanted to pick the car up, when I got to the dealership the AC still did not work. So I had to wait again another day. They had it for a whole week! The compressor was bad and it seems they wanted to do a quick patch and shove it out the door to me. When I finally got the car, there was dog hair still on the seats and although it had been vacuumed they missed so much just on vacuuming. Nothing had been detailed inside the car. Floor mats and carpet still FILTHY. I spent a whole day cleaning it myself, as it was a gift to my son. I put the floor mats in the bathtub and they cleaned up easily - which says the dealership did nothing - nada - zilch for a whole week. What can I say, service sucks, the delay for a whole week and then it still wasn't fixed, cleaning sucks, and I would not buy used or new from them again, period.

FIRSTLY, I'D LIKE TO AGREE WITH THE LADY BELOW.. THEY THINK WOMEN ARE STUPID..I had one of the most distasteful, shady, experiences I've ever had with a dealership yesterday. I'm not going to make this review 5 pages, but in a nutshell... I reported an oil leak, the guy in the service center, speculated then told me to bring the car in the take a look at it, and made sure to mention the $50 fee to run a diagnostic. Then after I mentioned my warranty, he refused to look up my warranty for me to see if the potential issue would be covered. I thought all KIAs guaranteed the 100k warranty??? Anyway... He even told me that I would cost for KIA to come pick up my car. After hanging up with him, I called the Franklin location, and the customer service was the complete opposite. So, I ended up calling roadside to tow it to Madison anyway, just because it's closer. The next day, the same service guy calls and tell me everything that wrong, and says it's because the people who changed my oil over a month ago left the oil cap loose. REALLY A MONTH DUDE?! Then he says I need a new oil control value that's no covered under my warranty. $750+ I called Meineke (who changed my oil). They called B.S., towed the car to them, fixed whatever it was with no charge and send me on my way. KIA had only cleared the codes on my car and was getting ready to charge me for some shit I didn't even need. They even sent the car to Meineke with the oil cap still loose. SMH. Bottomline, they are money hungry. Know your vehicle, and your warranty before dealing with them. If can, driving to Franklin is your best bet. It'll be worth the drive.

By far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I went on-line to be pre-approved. Within an hour, received a call back. The next day I was at the dealership expecting the same painful back and forth previously experienced with other dealers and purchases. That did not happen. They gave me what I was asking for on my trade, without haggling. Within an hour, I was signing paperwork. Salesman was wonderful and not condescending as I've experienced in the past. ALL members of their team were very courteous. Was given a tour of the facility and walked to the Service Department where they explained how the process would work when coming in for service and even introduced the person behind the counter as the main point of contact. Have experienced NO issues with this vehicle (Optima) and when making an appointment for basic oil changes, have experienced courteous, professional service. I might add that their waiting area in Service is incredibly clean and comfortable. I love the car and everything that comes with it for a really reasonable price. My experience with this dealer and the vehicle has made me a return customer.

This KIA is HORRIBLE. They are very abusive and manipulative towards women. All the good reviews you see are ones kia reps put up. They treated me like dirt I would have gotten better service at a tote the note lot. The so call finance guy calculated my income wrong and when I tried to get him to explain he folds up all my papers and tells me to get out. I was so shock that I silently left but he wasn't done he slammed the door behind after I walked out so hard he shook the windows. However, I went to Downtown Nissan and was treated like a celebrity. In one hour i was driving away in a 2015 with zero miles And they had no problems with calculating my income. I spent a whole week with Kia. So please beware of this Kia. And the other manager at Kia was so rude when I tried to talk to him he had a lit cigarette and was blowing smoke all around me. This Kia is not only low budget and have no heat on the inside but they are horrible towards women.

Tom Cilburn and the team at Universal KIA Rivergate are Awesome! We received immediate response from the sales team and were able to start our car shopping the next day. We were concerned about some credit issues but Tom and his team worked diligently to get us approved and drive away in a new car! They made the experience fun and enjoyable. Tom was able to put us in a vehicle better than we imagined. We would highly recommend Tom and Rivergate KIA to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle! Thanks Y'all :)
