My credit wasn't good. However, they had advertisements if you make a certain amount a week we can get you financed. I have been getting my credit better and making payments on time. (Student Loans) are my problem. I went there and let them know all this and ran my credit on 6, or more lenders. Each time making an hard inquiry on my credit. I do not see why I should be penalized because of that. Make one inquiry and share it. I didn't get approved. Waste of time. They didn't even communicate anything with me.

My daughter is in college and was in desperate need of a new car, No one would give a chance with a new or almost new car then I got a call from Ulysses Butler with universal Kia in Rivergate, I was to my witts end by this time, I spoke with him and told him my issues and he said Mrs.Bryson I'm gonna sell u a car today for your daughter! I had heard that before and wasn't in the mood to drive from Dickson to Rivergate just to be told No Again.Needless to say Mr.Butler finally convinced me to give him a chance, he said ma'am when u get here there w be a car parked out front it will be your car!! I wasn't very optimistic however when I looked into my daughters eyes I had to go all I had to lose at this point was time out my day..I cried to much that day because Mr.Butler treated us with kindness and dignity even though my credit wasn't the greatest he took us right in like we were his family he went above and beyond to ensure my daughter drove off in her almost brand new Kia Forte she loves it I love the peace of mind. From my family to yours I just want to say Thank You for believing in us, I can't wait to buy my next new car from Ulysses Butler @ Universal Kia Rivergate!!

Friendly staff. Fast service. All my questions were answered and most important (for me) was hassle free atmosphere. I advised the car sales man I would be back and he didn't try to hold me up. He told me what he can do for me and I went to another dealership and within 10 minutes, I was back to purchase my new vehicle. Very pleased with my experience.

David and the staff was so helpful, did not pressure me at all, everyone was so nice, polite and very friendly, making sure I was taken care of. I lovedon't buying my car thete. I just love my new Kua Sould. Rivergate Universal Kua is the best.

I was ready to buy a car when I entered the Rivergate Kia dealership on Memorial Day. My salesperson' s name is Ulysses Butler. He immediately made me comfortable and we went over what I was looking for in a car and my financial ability to pay for it. Then we shopped. I drove a Soul and immediately I was in love. The rest of the negotiations went smoothly. They gave me everything I wanted at a price I could afford. It was a wonderful buying experience. Mr. Butler is a great person to work with. I am so very pleased with the whole processes. ..

I purchased a new 2014 Kia from the Rivergate location. I had been looking at their website and knew Universal Kia was the dealership I wanted to purchase from. I live approximately 55 minutes away depending on traffic from the Rivergate location which was the closest one and didn't check any other dealerships prior to my purchase. I already knew what I wanted and purchased my car without even test driving it first. I have taken my car to the same Rivergate location for every maintenance service. I love my Kia but the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm not currently a very happy customer. My unhappiness has become frustration because my car currently has 17,000 miles on it and since 15,000 miles I have had several issues with the tires on my car. The car is fine I'm upset about the tires that are put on New Kia's from the manufacturer. After posting my frustration on the Kia America website they contacted me giving me the contact info for Kumho the tire manufacturer. Kumho informed me basically that it was tough luck and they hated it for me because unless its a manufacturers defect like a broken belt or something there is no mileage warranty on the tires on new car purchases. So I purchased a new car that currently has only 17,000 miles and tomorrow I have to spend about $600.00 to purchase 4 new tires because the cheap tires that Kia puts on new vehicles from the factory have no mileage warranty and only last for 15-17,000 miles. I'm afraid to drive it very far because I don't want to be stranded with another flat tire. I don't have a problem at all with Universal Kia and I would purchase another new car from Chris Bostick's dealership. However if Kia continues to put cheap tires on their new vehicles that have to be replaced by 17,000 miles then I won't purchase another Kia again.

I was looking for a car for my daughter and decided to put Kia Universal to the test. I spotted a red BMW. at first i drove around the lot one time playing my music really loud with my convertible top down and nobody came out. Then i got out and looked at the BMW the door was locked. Finally Virgil Avery came out on the lot. He introduced himself and basically that was it! He didn't offer to open the car ...He didn't offer to invite me in and take my info..I told him i was looking for a car for my daughter preferrably a BMW. I told him we were going to pay cash for it if my daughter wants it. He didn't even ask her name... He didn't even ask for an appt. ..I had to give him this information.. finally he walked into the dealership and i followed behind him (again he didn't even invite me in) he got my name and number and wrote down the appt.. I told him my daughter will be here Saturday..and that was it ! I was ready to leave when my wife called me and told me to look in the car. I had to walk back in the dealership and get him to come out and open the car . he just handed me the keys so i had to sit in a hot car and start it up myself. He also couldn't figure out how to open up the hood so i could see the engine. I have a 2011 BMW but i was confused about how to open the 2015 hood because there was a trick to it. Finally a salesman who was standing around in a group of other salesmen yelled out "pull the hood release twice to open it!" He didn't even offer to pull the car forward and open up all the doors so i could see everything . he just basically stood there looking at me.. no demo ride nothing! The only thing he did right was come out and introduce himself when no other salesmen would. I drive a nice car a BMW 328i Hardtop convertible and have the money to purchase a good certified vehicle for my daughter. as a matter of fact the car is shown to have only 20,000 miles on it with a 2 year 100,000 mile warranty. The only thing was it was red and i don't know if my daughter would want red. But i was sure going to convince her this car would be reliable.. but how would i know if your salesman won't do his job!! Let me tell you something... You need people on your lot that love sales.. you need a sales team that has passion and want to make some money.. you need to retrain your sales team or fire them all and get a whole new crew. If i was a sales person.. i would look at selling cars as my own business and i would greet the customer ,invite him in sit him down LISTEN to what he or she is saying gather all the facts..go to tell my manager what i'm working with.. go out get the car cut on the A/C pull it up open all the doors do a walk around and take the client on a demo ride.. make an appt to bring daughter and wife in and have them demo ride and try to close the sale..Whats wrong with you Guys at KIA???? You not going to make money if you have more people like Virgil Avery on the lot!!! I hate to call the man out...but he did not take the necessary steps to make himself money or represent Universal Kia....After talking with my wife..She called Carmax and we went to Carmax got an awesome greeting and was invited inside... the salesman got the BMW we were looking for took us on a demo ride...i sent pics to my daughter and live video she loved it and i bought the car cash the the same evening...I will never recommend Universal Kia in Rivergate to anyone and i told my experience on facebook to many of my friends and family
