First time customer. Great atmosphere. Seemed like a nice casual place with a one big dining room with upstairs tables which I'm guessing are meant for larger groups. Waitor was prompt met with me and took my drink order very nice guy. When he came back I ordered a Catina nachos because I had a free coupon for it, but when he returned with a regular basket of chips with salsa which I assumed were the nachos. So at first I was a little disappointed until the waitor brought the real nachos which were really good! I suggest if a single customer orders a plate of nachos for appetizer they're not going to want to eat the other chips and salsa! I had ordered the plate of ribs and fries. DELICIOUS ribs very tender pulled the meat right off the bones and ate it with a fork. My only complaint I had which I didn't give the five stars is because I had to ask for my silverware. As I was going through my nachos I didn't want to dig through for chips to eat. I understand asking for extra napkins but should have silverware right as you sit!

Food cold. Service slow. Slightly rude. Two FAJITAS in pic because the 1st one was cold & the waiter argued it with me.

My fiance and I went to this Don Pablo's for dinner on a Saturday night and had a great experience. The hostess and waitress were very polite. Our waitress was attentive, but not annoying. She made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back to this Don Pablos.

Great salsa! Great food! Its not authentic but there is a authentic mexican place on every corner and is the food at those joints that great anyways? I have always like Donny' Ps and I hope they stick around! Try the yellow Queso, it is also hands down the best around!

Salsa tasted like ketchup. Enchiladas were mediocre.

It's not very good. I don't have high expectations for Mexican food in Merrillville, but this is just bad. The salsa was just pace picante sauce. The enchiladas I had (Four Amigos) consisted of various fillings with little flavor rolled up in flour tortillas (supposed to be corn) and a small amount of tomato sauce and melted cheese on top. They were dry and unsatisfying. Maybe they have some good food there, since I only tried one thing, but what I've seen is not encouraging. The service was good though and they had sweet tea so that's a plus.
